Bosch SHV89PW73N 39 dBA Custom Panel Dishwasher with 3rd Rack

So far, so good. It's new, so fingers crossed it holds up. Very quiet, almost too quiet. Have had to educate others in my house how the indicator light works so they understand when it's running. Love the trays and organizational possibilities for flatware. Still learning how to best load the middle/glassware rack to best efficiency. But, being very new to me, so far, so good.

We have had this appliance for 5 months, so I'm comfortable writing a review based on our continued use. We had an initial problem of the machine not draining; however that was due to the house builder's cabinet guys pulling the appliance to insert the fron cabinet panel and ‘kinking' the drain line when they pushed the dishwasher back in place. The installer came back and fixed this error. This is such a quiet dishwasher that I wouldn't know it was running if I hadn't pressed the start button and could see the red light shining on the floor. We're very pleased with the cleanliness of the dishes as well as the streak-free glassware (don't forget to use your Finish or other rinse aid). There is lots of versatility in loading odd-sized dishes, pots, and pans. We get best results when we use the ‘Extra Dry' setting, as the interior of the dishwasher dries out better/faster with this setting.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is our 2nd Bosch dishwasher. The last one lasted more than 15 years and was still running. It needed a new thermostat, so we decided to get a new one. It is better and quieter than the first! We love it!

Last week I was cooking for a party and was able to fit all the large mixing bowls in with the pots at the same time . Definitely saves time and the number of loads. I love the third tray for the silverware at the top

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Super quiet, easy to use after read the instructions. Cleans the dishes very well but make sure you read the manual. We're using the recommended detergent, rinse aid, and salt. Only criticism is that it doesn't tell you that it's clean (no silent indicator) because we disabled the really annoying beeping. We run the unit at night and the beeper goes off for hours.

I've been using this dishwasher for about a month now, and it performs much better than our previous dishwasher, which I thought was pretty good. I've been using the recommended dishwashing soap and drying liquid, and the dishes come out cleaner than previously. My husband noticed too, that the glasses sparkle. It's taken me a bit of experimenting to figure out how to fit everything we use in the dishwasher, but the three trays are very adaptable, and we're getting better at fitting all the pots and plates along with the glasses and utensils. It helps that the light comes on to tell us it's running, as the dishwasher is also very quiet. Although it was expensive, I sprang for the top-of-the-line model because it was the only one that automatically cuts off if it's in danger of flooding. I really love this appliance and would recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality machine.

Replaced our 14 year old excellent Bosch with this model. Greatly disappointed. The racks have a lot of 'play' and feel cheap. The controls are overly complex. Had to have the springs on the door replaced to keep the door from slammling shut. Drying even with 'Extra Dry' cycle (and yes, rinse agent full) leaves moisture in the appliance so that we have to leave the door open to avoid mildew. Definitely NOT worth the price and doesn't really deserve any 'stars'.
