Easy to increase the volume on the rear speakers, just need to download the SoundTouch app and go into speaker settings, I have my surround speakers set on +5 and they love it. Also really easy to hear the foot steps on call of duty.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using these speakers with the Bose Soundbar 700 for a month now and the sound is fantastic. The set up was a doddle. Unlike my previous speakers which had wires trailing everywhere, each speaker plugs into the mains and connects to the soundbar via its own Wi-Fi. Place the speakers where you want them and then go through the set up using your phone and the gizmo that comes with the speakers. It allows you to choose 5 favourite positions around the room for optimum surround sound. I've listened to music videos and watched films, and the great thing about this surround system is that because of the set up, you don't notice that it's surround sound, it just seems like natural should so you really immerse yourself in what you are watching. With my old system, I would hear sound from the nearest speaker over the others which was really annoying. Each speaker has a left/right button so you can't get the set up wrong. These are pricy, but if you are looking for quality surround sound, you can't do better than these speakers.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] RThese two Bose Surround speakers connected seamlessly to my Bose Soundbar. Using wireless connectivity, they were up and running in no time at all. Less than six inches high,these two Bose speakers created an immersive soundtrack for every movie I watched. Voices came from behind me, bullets flew from left to right, planes flew away in to the distance, bullets ricocheted around the room and explosions were truly stunning. The deep base notes coupled with clear and audible voices gave every film a new dimension and turned them in to a cinematic experience. Even the sound on normal television programmes seemed clearer and more defined. When music was played through the speakers, it was crisp and clear, but not drowned out and overpowered by bass notes. Although not cheap, I think you get what you pay for and these units have certainly had some favourable comments made about them from visitors at my house. I think some may even have become Bose converts.

Bought these to enhance the soundbar and what a big difference they make. The additional surround sound these speaker adds is exceptional. Well worth the purchase.

They practically turned my living room into a surround sound cinema experience! The speakers are small enough to blend into any area, but they feel sturdy and well made. The sound is everything you would expect from Bose, crisp and clear. If you want to feel fully immersed then I would definitely recommend these.

They add a new dimension to the sound experience especially when the movie or TV show has a dedicated surround soundtrack. However, you might get subtle unexpected audio during programming that is not optimized for surround. And the Bose Surround speakers are small, attractive, and mighty. DESCRIPTION The surround speakers are small and can blend easily in any room. They produce impressive sound which continues Bose reputation for impressive audio reproduction from tiny devices. Build quality is very nice. Hefty, but not heavy. And the bottom has a non-slip foot to keep each speaker in place while eliminating vibration. The surround speakers are wireless from the soundbar to the surround receivers. From those receivers to the actual speakers, they are wired. And each receiver requires its own power source. And each receiver has a switch to make it either right or left surround position. SETUP & BOSE MUSIC APP The setup process started off a bit frustrating. The instructions referred me to the smartphone app. The smartphone app found the speakers but then offered no setup guidance. I figured it out after just a few minutes, but I was disappointed. To summarize proper setup: Place the speakers where you want them, place the wireless receivers where you want them, cut the speaker wire to your preferred length from the receivers to the speakers, attach the wires to the speaker adapters, and plug the adapters into the speakers (you need a small screwdriver to connect the wires to the adapters). All of this might sound obvious, but cautious DIYers are not fans of ambiguity. Use the Bose Music app to connect the surround speakers to the soundbar. The process was automatic and went smoothly. The ADAPTIQ audio calibration detects and configures the satellite speakers for optimal performance. PERFORMANCE The sound reproduction is really impressive for such small speakers. During movies and sports, they added a fun, new dimension to the audio experience. For some programs, I noticed some irregular use of the rear channels. Voice tracks during a few programs would be present in the surrounds on and off during the same dialog scenes. This is not Bose's fault, nor was it actually all that distracting. It was just something I noticed. The Bose Music app allows you to adjust the volume of the rear channels so you can achieve your best surround experience. Or you can simply turn them off in the app. CONCLUSION They might not be perfect, but the Bose Surround speakers are wonderful additions for a Bose soundbar. They put you right in the middle of the action while the speakers themselves practically disappear in your room's background. If you're looking for a simple solution to a surround sound experience, then be sure to consider these.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having recently purchased a Bose 500 sound bar I elected to buy the supporting surround sound speakers which for the most part fit the bill, although there are some issues. The set up is a little painful with having to insert cables and screw them into place, and whilst they are small, the power packs are larger than the speakers themselves. I have found also that they loose contact with the sound bar on occasion and I need to unplug the Bose 500 and reset it, which then allows for the to reconnect. The speakers can be controlled via the app and the sound quality is good, as long as you remember that these output 5.1 surround sound and are not meant to act as two additional speakers that out the same sound as your sound bar. They work a treat on nature shows and I can hear animals walking through the leaves on the ground. If this is the level of detail that you are looking for from your sound system, I'd recommend these.

Today I bought the Bose surround speakers as well from a Bose store in my country. The spaeakers box is of Bose ‘surround speakers' but when I opened the box, the individual speaker boxes had Bose invisible speakers series ll written on them. I am posting the pictures as well but my question is whether I've been fooled or this is the way it is supposed to be?

Bought sound bar 700 with surround sound speaker and trust me the surround speakers are hard to setup as it has small screws ad the adapter doesn't fit in the rear speakers and often loses the connection. I am tired checking them. Not at all happy. The adapter to the speaker disconnects physically every now and then.

I bought this 2 weeks ago, because Bose decided to stop producing the 700 model. The worst decision I took. These speakers should only be used for a pc if you ask me. Very disappointed. No clue why Bose decided to stop producing the 700 model without having an upgrade, better product out and leaving the customer with only one option to complete the kit (soundbar-Sub). Really disappointed by Bose, not even enjoying my set, at ALL.
