The amplifier is outstanding . I now have the amp connected to my 900 sound bar 700 surround and 700 subwoofer with it also controlling my 500 smart speakermy next Bose purchase is 2 Bose 251 outdoor environmental speakers and I can't wait to purchase

I am absolutely thrilled with this amp. I am finally utilizing my very good passive speakers throughout the house. I read a review where the (valid) complaint was the inability to control which speaker pairs are active but have solved that a couple of ways. One, it is so easy to remove and replace the terminal blocks that I can quickly “turn on a set of speakers”. Two, I connected one terminal block to a switch box with 4 sets on speakers and can control which speaker is on. I would not expect all 4 to work at the same time but this gives me plenty of flexibility as to where to hear my music throughout the house - including a set in the backyard. I have also been happy to be able to use my Bose Solo 5 that is connected to a tv. The setup was super easy. I love this amp!

I added this amp to a pair of ceiling speakers I have in one room and couldn't be happier. The sound quality is great and with the added power and ability to adjust the trebble and base are fantastic and LOVE that there are 6 presets for your favorite channels from any of your streaming services you listen to.

I held off on buying an amp for years because they didn't 'fit' the space I wanted to commit to speakers in my apartment. Once I found this amp, I purchased it immediately and I can now bask in my bose speakers that have been in storage for far too long. It's fantastic for a primarily music setup. These are normal deficits I believe, but when playing TV through them you can't use Bluetooth due to a audio/video lag that I couldn't compensate for. It sounds great through the optical port, but you can only adjust sound through the app on your phone. First world problems.p

Vey straightforward set up and was up and running in about 15 minutes. The ability to cast from phone, use Bluetooth, and integration with Alexa/Google make it very versatile. Can hang it or rack-mount it so it is up and put of the way, but it does have a nice look to it so it's not completely necessary to "hide" it. All-around great amp and has taken everything I've thrown at it. Would recommend.

Amazing sound, easy setup, lools nice but need a remote control at least for the volume (even if it is an optional item). The whole family will not install app and log in and out to change the volume.

I need to return this amp. It has no remote, and no buttons or controls - I did know that going in... But I expected the mobile apps to work properly too. Paying a premium for Bose, I assumed they had the software figured out. They do not. The apps on Android and iPhone are horrendous - so slow, and so badly glitching. Sharing speakers for multiple users in the house is broken. And speaker grouping works great for music, but totally useless with video due to sync delays. Their advertised use case of "movie night" is not possible. I build software for a living (I'm no technophobe) - this app is BAD. Also, the amp can only play a specific kind of optical audio signal, which some TVs can't produce (stereo PCM up to 96 khz). This product is not up to Bose standards - not even close. Pretty disapponted.

I have a Bose sound touch system with three amplifiers. One of the amplifiers went bad therefore, I bought a new Bose amplifier. Then I find out that the amplifier I bought is not compatible with the Bose SoundTouch system. Also the new Bose app is very confusing to use. The sound touch app is a lot better.

The unit doesn't integrate with my google home device the way I had hoped. I still needed to use a chrome cast plugged into the source. I was also hoping to have independent volume control on each speaker pair. To get the functions out of unit that is hoping for, I need to buy 2. Overall just disappointed.
