(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I've been using QC35 I for over two years and loved how comfotable they were. These improve on QC35 in two important ways, and are as comfortable (if not more). 1- It's hard to describe just how good the new microphone is. I used QC35 to make a lot of calls, and one of the reasons I never switched to Sony's was their bad microphone. 700s microphone is orders of magnitude better than even QC35s. You can have a conversation with someone at extremely quietly (So quietly someone literally standing next to you won't understand what you are saying) and the person on other end of the call will hear you perfectly fine. 2- The ambient sound mode is orders of magnitude more natural than the competition (Only compared to Sony XM3s). After switching to 700s from QC35s, I've noticed I don't take these off nearly as much as I had to take of 35s. Do they sound better and have better ANC than QC35? Probably! but the difference is marginal.
If you are looking for a high tech and user friendly pair of headphones, this is it. There is an app that makes connection and control effortless, even connecting to Alexa, Siri or Google. The noise cancelling is top notch. When set to the highest setting, it is like being in a theater alone. What's really neat though is you can set the noise cancelling feature to 0-10 to decide how much outside noise you wish to hear. I love this for listening to podcasts but also being around my family. They fit well and don't slip while doing things around the house. The battery life is 18+ hours. You will love these!
These are some of the best headphones I’ve ever had. But, they have issues, too. First, the Alexa is very sensitive. When someone around is trying to use another Alexa device, the Alexa in the headphones tries to respond, too. The noise canceling is great. There are ten settings for varied amounts of noise cancellation. This allows you to choose how much of the background noise you cancel out in situations where you may need to hear some of it. On mobile devices, you have to use the Bose app, but you can set the headphones up to be hands free for phone calls, connect to your Amazon accounts (and Google Home, according to the package, but we don’t have that). The sound quality is great. They stay connected to your devices and reconnect without having to manually reconnect them, like many devices. As someone with anxiety and noise sensitivity, my favorite feature is the noise cancellation. This feature works even when you do not have any sound running through the headphones. They come in a really nice leather like case that has a pocket for the chargers and wires. You can connect them with Bluetooth and a wire. The battery life is phenomenal! We charged it two weeks ago, use it about 3 hours a day and it still has 15 hours of battery life left! They are adjustable to fit a variety of head sizes as well. They are equally comfortable on my eleven year old, me, and my husband. They also are not super tight like many noise reduction headphones. Overall, very happy with these headphones!
The Bose 700 headphones is a luxury device. The aesthetics so sleek and clean. The muted black is so smooth with no harsh edges. I really like that the Boss logo isn’t too loud or noticeable, so I’m not advertising it during my commute. The padding on the ear pieces are so comfortable, there isn’t any pinching. The noise cancellation is impressive. It is adjustable depending how much of the outside noise I want to cancel out. I can listen to my music and not have surrounding conversation interfering with my music or calls. It is adjustable from 0-10 and can instantly cancel for conversation cancellation, which just means I can pause my music instantly to listen to conversations outside of my headphones. There are touch features where I can use my finger and swipe forward/ back to skip my music, up/ down to adjust volume, double tap to pause/ play, answer/ ignore phone calls, muting options, battery life updates. I set up my headphones to auto shutoff, which detects movement by motion sensor and if there hasn’t been any audio for a certain amount of time. All these settings are adjustable and customizable when I downloaded the Bose app. The app isn’t necessary if I just want to connect to my phone to play music. This headphones can be used wireless via Bluetooth or can be plugged in. It comes with the plugs to plug into my phone and an usb cord to charge in my outlet or laptop. When I have these headphones on, the music really surrounds my ears and really how music should be played. I can hear all the lovely music without any harsh tones and perfect bass. Bose headphones is what every headphones in the market should aspire to be.
With a name like Bose, you know you're getting a product that will live up to the expectation. From the sleek design to the smooth, crisp sound, Bose has hit a home run. You can feel the mastery in the design from the moment you put them in your hands. These headphones are just another well-designed product that will prove the superiority of Bose. As expected, the sound is amazingly crisp.. The highs are clear and tight. The mids are solid. The lows and bass have an ever so slight rattle. But, that is not an issue at all. It's theater quality sound in a little box. I knew the sound quality would be unbelievable and that the craftsmanship would be undoubtedly evident. But, I was absolutely astonished by their capability to cancel literally ANY sound. At times, I have to work from home, and the commotion from everyday family life can be distracting. Set up was simple. Upon putting them over my ears, it was almost like nothing else existed in the house except for me and my work. Of course, my husband is here to hold down the fort when I'm working... safety first. The noise cancelling is adjustable. If you need to hear what's going on around you, you do have that option. The artistry behind the design is sleek and absolutely made for comfort. The band has a memory foam type-of feel to them - soft and cushiony. They are made to adjust to fit any user with ease. There is no doubt that they are durable and skillfully constructed. My husband loves the "techy" side of the headphones. He says that the Google Assistant has no trouble connecting to Amazon or Google. Just speak like you're talking to Alexa, and it works perfectly and flawlessly to connect. The connectivity and connection quality is tremendous. He can walk through the entire house without loosing connection - seemless and smooth. The app you can use on your electronic devices is extremely user friendly. There are games built into the app and you can use the headphones to do things with it. Almost like virtual reality for your ears. You can control the game by turning your head left, right, up, and down. For one of the games, you have to hear where the sounds are coming from and turn your head/body to control it. Another tells a story. You will hear a rustle in the bushes and by turning your head certain directions, you can change the outcome of the story. We've only just scraped the top of the ice burg when it comes to the things they can do. For me, I'm happy to have some quiet time to finish my work. It creates more time I can spend with the people I love. For my family, they love taking turns using them for fun and recreation. They deliver. They will not disappoint. We absolutely love them!
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I got this grate headphones on September 6/2019 and fell in love with them very shortly after then. They are producing a beautiful soft velvet sound of music all over from a low- mid- hi and they are very very comfortable over the ears and head. Control buttons are placed just on right spot on the left and right ear cap and look like they much my insticts when ever I want to do any changes during listning. This auto set up Noice cancellation 5-0-10 (can be in steps from 0 to 10) is beatiful and very practical feature. Bose music software is offering so many choices for the listners of beatiful music and and othe entertaiments. At last, thank you to Bose inovative engineering for giving us such beautiful head set for every age, youg or old.
The Bose Noise Cancelling headphones are totally worth the money. I have owned so many brands of headphones and Bose takes it to an entirely different level. The sound quality is crisp and clear, as if you are at a concert and the headphones are so comfortable. It has an amazing microphone system that picks up and isolates your voice while canceling the noise around you. With a light weight frame and cushy ear pads the Bose headphones are extremely comfortable. I love Alexa Assistant and it has the ability to take a hands-free call or speak to Alexa easily and change your music channel. You can also use google assistant if you prefer! There are 10 noise cancelling settings that you can adjust easily according to the environment. These headphones have excellent noise cancelling ability and work really well as a headset for making calls or enjoying your favorite music. I highly recommend this Bose Noise Cancelling Headphone for top quality music and calls.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These headphones are absolutely amazing. The build quality and materials are exceptional with an different and very easy to adjust headband which is extremely comfortable. The design is excellent as you would expect from Bose the look the part and fit seamlessly over your ears to form a tight seal, I have no issue in wearing these for hours on end and honestly you forget your wearing over the head headphones. The sound quality is balanced and exceptional. Day to day listening of podcasts is a pleasure but obviously where these excel is in base heavy music where the base, mid's and high's are clearly defined and you are completely submersed in the music. The variety of touch controls available on the side of the headphones themselves is greatly appreciated and you can play/pause, skip forward and back, and volume up and down all with a swipe and if very intuitive to use. There are also physical buttons for on/off, setting up to 3 default NC controls and the assistant button. The showcase piece is the noise cancellation which is amazing and puts you in your own little bubble blocking out 90% of the offices ambient noise (voices are harder to control but honestly I cant hear my keys typing when I have them on). The ability to customize on a scale of 1-10 the NC level is brilliant and you can quick cycle through 3 presets (can be customized) using the button on the left cup. Overall these are amazing headphones, the price isn't for everyone but if you have the the ability to buy these do it, it will change your listening experience.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using the Bose NC700 for a month now, so I think I am qualified to give some feedback about it. First of all, I have to say that Bose has never let me down in terms of build quality. The package, carry case and the headphones itself just shout out ‘premium'. The carry case is made of PU/faux leather, which feels great to the touch yet durable. It has well thought-out design with hidden compartment which holds AUX and USB C charging cable. The AUX cable is similar to the one coming with the NC 700's predecessors, with 3.5” and 2.5” connections, minus the in-line microphone because this time, the microphone is built-in the cups (I cannot tell if it is on the left or right, or both, because both of the cups are totally symmetrical). And the headphones with its metal cups are rock solid. Another thing I like about the NC700 comparing to its predecessors is that it is designed with glasses wearers in mind. My old QC25 and QC35 tend to press the frame into the sides of my head too much that it would hurt after prolonged usage. Surprisingly, the NC700 is so much more comfortable. Not only that, the noise cancellation is not affected by whether the user wears glasses or not, unlike with the QC25 and QC35. I used the NC700 on my 14-hour flight to Thailand in Economy class, and the noise did not bother me at all. Secondly, about the usage, it is fairly easy to a tech-savvy person like me. The Bose Music app which is recommended to install on your phone to help control the headphones also has instructions of how to use the headphones with the touch control. Basically, all touch control is on the right cup, with swiping up and down to increase or decrease volume, forward or backward to change to next or previous track, double tapping to pause/resume, and touching and holding to hear a prompt of how many hours of battery left (an impressive 19 hours on a full charge – tested on my long flight). The buttons are to change the level of noise cancellation, call up Siri/Google Assistant, and turn on/off. It only takes me a few minutes to familiarise myself to the usage, and it just became second nature from then on. All these years, I tend to think about noise cancellation when talking about Bose headphones. If you consider the QC25 and QC35 are good enough, you have not seen/heard enough! The QC700 is another level. The QC700 has 10 levels of noise cancellation, and the QC25 and QC35 are only equivalent to about level 5-6. Tuning to level 10, most of the noise are cancelled and you are immersed in your own music. I like the fact that the headphones intelligently filter wind noise as well. Previously, the QC25 and QC35 fail to do so, and it is rather uncomfortable listening to music when walking in the wind – not anymore with the QC700. With the noise cancellation, the NC700 will make a perfect commuting pair of headphones. However, for audiophile, you might not be satisfied. I find the bass not as punchy, the mid is a bit muddy, and clarity suffers a bit even with noise cancellation at level zero. Therefore, when I only want to listen to music in my study, I tend to go back to my old trusted Aurvana Live! headphones for a better sound quality. In summary, the Bose NC700 will make a perfect pair of headphones for commuting, or working. The sound quality is a 8 out of 10, but this is just personal preference, and I bet many people will find it pleasing to their ears.
I bought the silver ones 3 months ago and been only using them at the gym (indoors) and on the plane. So not too regularly, but they are becoming a horrible colour and look cheap. If only I knew this could happen I would've opted for either black ones or the rose gold ones. So utterly disappointed for getting such poor quality for the price.
