The sound with thin and tinny compared to much cheaper non-wireless headphones and the sound kept on dropping out. This was regardless of whether I was moving or still and nothing to do with the distance from the source. I also tried various iPhones and iPads. I think the technology just isn't there yet, stick to your wired headphones.
I bought this on 10-Nov-2018 in MG Road, Bangalore Bose showroom. Very disappointed by the dual-mic performance on phone calls. The other side member complains about the noise that he/she hears from the conversation. The Headphone picks up my voice + near-by noise such as TV news or office conversations or vehicle noise etc... and its much louder and disturbing to the other party compared to direct-mobile or other headphones like Plantronics or Sony. Moreover, I feel claustrophobic in all noise-cancelling mode. I want to return the product right away. I am moving to my wired-plantronics headphone as its much clear and doesn't pick up unnecessary surrounding noise. The Bose Headphone cuts the external noise and helps in better quality while hearing but not suppressing the noise while on the phone and the other side the person complains of disturbing noise while I talk. Sad! Not a good product, waste of money (Rs.26K+).
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great Head phones, amazing noise cancellation, clarity in sound is amazing and it does not hurt your years. You can use the headphones for long hours. With Alexa and google assistance they are even better. One thing that according to me is missing is these head phones are not water proof/sweat proof.
I've had the headphones for a somewhat 6 months now. The headphones themselves are comfy and the sound is good. But for my commute to work on a bus they are not ideal. There is always interference with the sound, like wind travelling through them (Windows not open on bus). This is even when I change the noise cancellation feature to low which is supposed to counteract any wind or other interference. So most of the time i am turning off the noise cancelling feature due to how irritating listening to music with it on is. If you're in a quiet room or just sat down in a room for that matter then this product is great. But otherwise if you're on the move a lot like me then not so much.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A recent purchase, excellent Headphones with loads of features (Brilliant Noise Cancelling) and they give a superb audio experience (i would highly recommend) - but what happened with the enclosed cables? A charging USB cable that is ridiculously too short, i don't own a Laptop and i invariably charge from a mains source. The 3.5mm Aux cable feels cheap and flimsy and i am not confident of it's longevity. Yes they are Bluetooth but there are times when I will need to use the Aux cable Bose build superb quality headphones which deserve better and more practical cables!
From the moment I opened the package for these headphones, I knew they were quality. The packaging is smart and minimal. Inside, the headphones are packed into a robust carry case, which really could survive life's little bumps and scrapes. The headphones themselves are comfortable and beautifully designed, with all the controls easy to reach, once they are on. They charge quickly and the battery life really is quite outstanding, easily the 20 hours claimed by Bose. It is the sound quality, however, which really marks these out as beauties. Even at the highest volumes, the sound is crystal clear, with out even a hint of distortion and, at lower levels, still gives a good bass and excellent range of sound. The headphones have a particularly heavy bass, which I enjoy. The noise cancellation is also great. As soon as you turn them on, even before you start playing music, you can hear the world's din disappear. I have also used the headphones to listen to streamed movies and, if their is any latency, it is so slight that I can't detect it. If I were to be critical of anything, and here I am being really picky, the headphones do suffer from a little Bluetooth drop out from time to time, but no more so than other Bluetooth headphones I have tried. In short, I would recommend these to anyone.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was lucky enough to recieve a pair of these headphones free with the new Huawei P20 Pro promotion when it launched in March. For the last 5 months, they have been excellent. Alexa tells me when my battery is getting low and the sound is outstanding. When I am in the gym, I don't hear the external music at all. I did have an issue today as the bluetooth signal kept dropping, but contacted customer services who walked me through some simple steps and voila, working perfectly again. My only issue is going to be when they finally giove up the ghost and I have to buy a replacement myself, as I cannot imagine anything better.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really impressed with the headphones, noise cancellation is great! So comfy as well and have great Bose sound quality, I always go with Bose for all my earphones and headphones. But unfortunately the carry case they come with is a real let down, ive only been using them for almost a month and the zip on the case is broken and I'm worried my headphones are going to fall out of them and break :/ I'll have to buy one from another manufacturer as I don't think a replacement case is going to be any better. So buy the headphones and consider buying another case for when the zip breaks. It's like the headphones are too big for the case so it struggles
Just received my headphones, was so happy untill I opened them :( There's no airline adaptor and no place to store it if you would buy one separately. I tested my father in law's Quietcomfort 35 I and I guessed the Quietcomfort 35 II would be the same with an extra button for google assistant and maybe even better overall quality. Unfortunately the casing seems less sturdy and a really important feature has been removed. I don't use google assistant so if I would have know this I would have bought the Quietcomfort 35 I and would have saved me some money. Now I payed more money and am not happy with the product I got :(
My friends, when I bought these headphones years ago, they were one of the top pair of headphones I have owned. Very comfortable, good noise cancelling, etc. I would have hands down purchased another pair of Bose headphones in the future. Unfortunately, this headphone's sound cancelling got inexplicability weak over time. I can hear someone talking rather crisply in the same room (and it makes being productive difficult). This wasn't always the case. I know Bose set out assuring everyone that the new update didn't bungle up the sound cancelling, but there is clearly an issue in the product somewhere. Many others have experienced the same thing. I wish I could return these headphones, because they are not what they were initially. This led me to purchasing OTHER noise cancelling headphones (since it prevented me from posting the exact name as a "writing guideline"). This sort of thing was akin to how Apple slows down their previous products so that you have to go and buy the new one, which is "improved". It is very unusual, indeed. The one other thing I will say is that these are not really meant for gym work outs. The earcups, if you get them sweaty, will start to smell over time. I wish there was a solution to this, because sometimes it is hard to use small earbuds at the gym, due to loud music at the gym.
