(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This is my second review a edit of the first after having them for longer. I bought these because I wanted good headphones. I had wanted to go for the Beats Studio 3 headphones (because they were much cheaper) but returned them because they were not good enough. These are great and would recommend them. Like i said a bit on the expensive side though.
I've had these about a week now, sound quality is exceptional as expected with Bose products. The noise cancelling feature is brilliant, Perfect if I'm commuting or in the gym these headphone make you feel like your in your own personal concert. Very easy to use with the Bose app straight forward with clear instruction and a handy battery percentage on the app.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had many headphones until i took this decision to buy this Bose, when you pay this amount of money first thing you think if is really worth it! In my opinion as a demanding person i would say yes. If you are kind of person who loves quality that's a good choice. The build, the controls, the sound, the confort are definitely realistic. Noise cancellation it works very well, i still can hear some background sounds in traffic or in a bus, I believe would be hard to make 100% works this aspect of technology, let be honest. Bose you just make me feel proud of you. Peace!
I decided an upgrade was needed to my much loved but very aged Bose QC 3 headphones, and took the plunge with the QC 35 II. In the box - When first unpacked you will see the headphones are stowed in a nice firm case which will give ample protection to your new tech. There is enough room in the case to store a few accessories too, like the 3.5mm jack cable (included) and an adapter for your iPhone 7 (not included). You also get a usb cable to charge the 20-hour battery. Build quality - Is the usual high standard Bose adhere to, the headphones while being nice and light, feel well made and give confidence they will last the test of time. The leather used around the “ear cups” make the headphones extremely soft and comfy to wear. So listening to music for hours at a time won't leave you with sore or aching ears. Tech stuff - The Bluetooth option means linking them to your smartphone, iPad, iPod, laptop etc is easy. I downloaded the Bose app and this made connection simple. The app allows you to update the headphones, control the degree of noise cancelling and provides access to all the product documentation too. There are buttons on both of the headphone cups, the left cup provides a button that will activate Google assistant, this button can also be changed to control the noise cancelling feature should you prefer (changed via the app). The right cup has 3 buttons. These buttons will allow you to activate Siri, answer phone calls, play, pause music, switch up and down tracks and control the volume, so almost no need to touch my iPhone at all. Sound quality - As you would expect for the price tag, the sound these headphone produce is fabulous. I have tested a wide range of music genre and the headphones produce fantastic results all at various volume levels. Classical, pop, rock, Indi etc the depth of sound is VERY good. The bass rumbles when required without being overpowering, and the high tones are crisp and clear. Phone calls are very clear, I had no issues with sound using the phone while outside on a windy day. The main feature for me is the noise cancelling facility. The Bose QC 35 II does a REALY good job shutting out most if not all the unwanted noise. You really can kick back relax and get lost in your music with these headphones! Recommendations - I would recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a high end set of headphones. Sound quality is superb, very comfy to use, and the noise cancelation is brill. A perfect travel companion on the tube, plane, train, or just shutout the outside world and use at home. Has the modern technology to connect to all the latest audio devices which secures many years of future proofing should you change your iPhone etc, no Bluetooth don't panic just plug them in! Pricey but you do get what you pay for!
I bought these headphones 2 weeks ago and use them everyday. They wirelessly sync to my laptop and phone instantly, so once your initial set up is complete, you don't need to do anything as long as they're in range. The range is very impressive too.. much better than my bluetooth speaker in fact. I can walk two large rooms away from my phone before it cuts out which is brilliant as I'm always putting my phone down. The best feature for me though is the noise cancellation. You can literally do the hoovering while listening to your music uninterrupted. I personally wouldn't wear these outdoors as I like to hear my surroundings but if you like listening to music outside then you'll love these, as you won't hear much else! Battery life is really good too, and informs you every time you put them on and the app is helpful for connnecting but not a 'must-have' to be honest. They look stunning too and are very comfortable. The case looks smart and keeps them safe and dry. Overall I'm thrilled with them :)
I've had these headphones for about a month now. For the first couple weeks I listened to them with the factory eq settings but noticed the bass was lacking in most songs. I downloaded the app Bass Eq in the Android play store and began to hear an amazing improvement. These headphones are built to provide much richer sound and deeper lows with a simple adjustment of the eq settings. The bass eq app transforms the sound into a whole another dimension. Hope this helps other ppl that feel the same way about the active equal bose provides. Hopefully in the future Bose will implement an equalizer of there own in the Bose connect app for those who want to hear their music in a different way.
I just got these 4 days ago and I'm so happy as these are the best I've ever experienced, they are an awesome pair of headphones with the best noise cancellation Ive experienced yet but even better is the built in google assistant they are fantastic you can play music receive txts and even find out allsorts and get reminders just by the press of a button and without even glancing at my phone, it's so easy to use just a simple button you just press and start a conversation with my assistant, absolute fantastic piece of technology, you just get lost in your own wee world of music . I love these so much , not only that but you can also use the action button to adjust the level of noise cancelling by 3 steps, they are a very comfy luxurious set of headphones with very comfortable ear cushions that make you think you aren't wearing them, they are a must for any music lover, once charged you have hours of fun and you also get a cable to use if needed wen batteries flat and also a charging cable and lovely hardcase for storing them 10/10
These surprised me as how quiet they are and I haven't even turned on the noise canceling. Just putting them on makes most of the noise go away. And they are very comfortable. Of course given Bose sound it sounds amazing. I can connect to my pc and my phone at the same time so I don't have to switch back and forth.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really impressed with the headphones, noise cancellation is great! So comfy as well and have great Bose sound quality, I always go with Bose for all my earphones and headphones. But unfortunately the carry case they come with is a real let down, ive only been using them for almost a month and the zip on the case is broken and I'm worried my headphones are going to fall out of them and break :/ I'll have to buy one from another manufacturer as I don't think a replacement case is going to be any better. So buy the headphones and consider buying another case for when the zip breaks. It's like the headphones are too big for the case so it struggles
I've had my headphones for 6 months and would consider myself a medum to heavy user, I use the noice cancelling to help me sleep on the my weekly red eye's, wear on commutes and through the day in the office when I make skype/video cals and while the audio is great an they are comfortable I am let down by the quality of the plastic casing. I would have expected them to be sturdier for regular on/off, being put into security checkpoint trays in airports etc, and for the occasional bump if snoozing on a subway or bus. But they really are not that durable, almost stuck in 00's DJ style design - I have comfortable studio grade home use headphones that are more sturdier. I've attached a few pictures that show my 6 month old cans. o A bad scratch to through the plastic o Where the plastic joins have weakened o Loose fitting hinge o Tighter hinge but with the spring loaded button springing back to a mid point between off/on switching off the cans again I'm not sure if there are better wireless noise cancelling cans out there, but I do feel let down by general overall quality. If you are going meticulously place/remove them and put them in their oversized case everytime you remove them, your probably fine, if you going to use them and not worry about regularly taking them off, placing them in security bins, taking the odd gently knock, expect some wear and tear.
