Excellent sound quality, and comfortable to wear

Devyn_Beretta March 24, 2025

I bought these a little while back and they've served me incredibly well since. - excellent sound quality with settings available in-app - comfortable fit - I have quite a few ear piercings and can wear these headphones for hours without discomfort - Bluetooth enabled or 2.5mm to 3.5mm jack - This is one of my favourite features as I often use headphones for upwards of five hours per session and the option to switch between Bluetooth or a cable gives me the flexibility I need. Sound quality is equally as good via either option. - noise cancelling is a godsend and "aware mode" is very useful for frequent travelling.

Amazing headphones

KarinaJ February 19, 2023

I bought these headphones a month ago and these were my first headphones, i always used earphones. I did a big research and compared Sony xm4, xm5, aipods max amd Bose headphones. My final decision was Bose qc 45. In my opinion they are the best headphones for everyday use. They are the most comfortable and light on the head, noise cancellation is brilliant (i would say it is the best among headphones that i compared), the sound is very good( not the best on the market, but more than enough for everyday user, with sound settings in the app),the design is the best, the price is cheaper then sony (i even bought my headphones with double discount for £234. I like the buttons, dont count this as a disadvantage compared to sony xm4, xm5 touch sensor control. To sum up, these headphones were the winner for me in all aspects. I'm very satisfied and happy with this purchase.

I wanted these for ages and my dad finally got them and I couldn't be happier but okie problem is that they are way to comfortable and you can't take them off after putting them on

Use for everything

Jslone16 November 13, 2021

Since day 1 I have been trying these out with it all. Bluetooth to my phone, connected to my treadmill while exercising daily and at work connected to laptop. When I say it cancels all outside noise it 100 percent does. I love the no distractions. I can actually get my work done. Ear phones are very soft and comfortable. Easy to wipe off and clean after working out. Battery life is amazing. Lasted way longer than expected. Basic black color is versatile and sound is everything I expected and more. No complaints at all. 5 stars. Perfect bass for rap and hip hop.

Amazing Bose sound

Princes26 October 13, 2021

These headphones are extremely Comfortable when on your head-they don’t catch on my hair or make my ears feel sore like so many headphones tend to do. They have really good noise cancelation and they are Bose so obviously they have great sound. They are easy to connect to your phone through Bluetooth. The body of the headphones is very flexible. There are many flex points in them. I wish the charger it came with was a bit longer, but it’s a universal one so you could use any compatible charger, I think. The only downside is when I put them around my neck they feel like they might choke me, even extended all the way. This is unfortunate because I really prefer to drop them onto my shoulders when not in use.I will say that my husband doesn’t have the same problem, so maybe I just have a short neck. That’s really the only downside I can think of-these have amazing sound, which is the most important!

Amazing!!!!

Laurie October 11, 2021

These are hands down the best over the ear headphones I have ever owned. When they say they are noise canceling, they mean it! There is a button you can press on the side to completely cancel noise or allow a little of background noise if you prefer. They come in a handy little case to carry chargers and whatnot in which was a nice surprise. I had zero trouble getting them to connect to Bluetooth. Probably one of the quickest set ups I have ever done. I had the app downloaded, the headphones synced, and music playing all in under five minutes. They are also so comfortable to wear. I was expecting a bulky fit for over the ear headphones and these blew me away by how comfortable and lightweight they are. I wore them for hours last night and had no problem. The battery life is really good too. They came 70% charged out of the box and was still at 60-something percent even after wearing them all night. I'm honestly so impressed with them and would give them more stars if I could! The sound is so crisp and pure. They honestly make the music sound better than it already was!! I've always been a huge fan of Bose quality and these do not disappoint! I will never buy another brand but Bose from now on!

There's no going back from here!

KLW February 23, 2022

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'll be honest, I didn't want to believe the hype and thought that there was no way that these Bose headphones could justify the cost. I was wrong, so wrong, and now I don't think I'll ever be able to use cheaper headphones again. These look great, sound phenomenal and have so many extra touches - the app, the case, the fold down ability and so on - that using them is a joy. The sound quality is off the scale, they make everything sound good and I'm having to fight my other half who is trying to claim them for themself. For anyone on the fence about these Bose headphones I can only say try them out for yourself but be prepared that nothing else will cut it afterwards!

BEWARE: So comfortable....

Umzz February 26, 2022

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] BEWARE: The QC45's are so comfortable you may forget your wearing them! These are great for commuting on public transport in noisy and busy journeys and did I mention how comfortable they are? I like the smoothness of the area beneath the headband and 'At last' we have a usb-c charge port. I'm also glad Bose have kept with the physical buttons. The microphones are noticeably better compared to the qc35's.. but I have been told on a couple of occasions my voice sounds shallow and hollow. However, blocking out the background noise and isolating your voice works really well. Also, the quick charge feature is fantastic to keep you going until you are able to charge fully later! Noise cancellation sounds natural and works well with background voices but the 700's filter out ambient noises better and are more enjoyable for better sound clarity and bass dynamics for audiophiles. So, I much prefer the 700's for clearer and more natural sounding music in a wider sound stage. I was able to test the qc45's before mine arrived as two friends had purchased these and both of them have sent them back for how flat they sounded. I genuinely hated these headphones before the EQ feature. That was before the EQ was added and I believe if the music app initially had the EQ feature, they may have kept the headphones as out of the box, the sound just doesn't do the artist justice for the sound they intended to create. I also, wish we had the option to completely switch noise cancellation off as some music sounds better without the noise cancellation. The only two options we have are to either have noise cancellation 100% on or ambient sound 100% on with no variation of this and both modes can take away from the music clarity. Ambient mode can be adjusted in the 700's and are much better at rejecting wind noise. Another feature of the 700's that have not been included in the in the qc45's is the conversation mode. Why has this great feature to speech clarity not been included? The sound quality is good enough with wired only but I wish you can use the headphones whilst charging. The qc45's is a noticeable upgrade from the qc35's but I'm not sure if it's worth paying the current price difference between the two. I'm also presuming the 700's is due for an upgrade soon and may be worth waiting for if you prefer headphones for music rather than just comfort. The qc45's lack excitement in sound but has less clamping force to 700's and the 45's seem to have more cabin pressure compared to 700's but less compared to the qc35's. Feels like Bose are holding back on the qc45's compared to the 700's. I would have appreciated a pause feature when you remove the headphones from your ears and play feature when re-worn like a certain competitor has. Also, the plastic feels less quality and less well made and the case doesn't look and feel as premium. The qc45's band adjustment feels so much cleaner than the competition but the leatherette on qc35's earcups feels so much nicer than qc45's and earcups on the qc45's just feels cheap. My Pros: • Most comfortable • Active noise cancellation is great • Can use ANC in wired mode • Better battery life • Can connect to two devices at the same time • USB-C charging My Cons: • Sound signature isn't accurate for true audiophiles • Unable to turn off ANC without switching to aware mode • Feels cheap • No support for audio over USB-C • No on-ear detection sensor • Sound profile without the newly added EQ in the music app is terrible

Superb in the basics, but average in features

Anonymous February 24, 2022

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] UNPACKING - On opening the carry case, I was impressed by the compact design of the headphones and the visual style of the headphones. clearly they have been designed to look good and be compact for transport. HANDLING - Handling resulted in some disappointment for me, these creaked, groaned and clacked as I unfolded and handled them, given the headphones style and brand, I expected a bit more refinement, unfortunately they just felt cheap and very creaky plastic did not help with that , however, from a design standpoint they do look good. WEARING - These felt great on my head, they were light, gave a good head grip and were very comfortable on the ears from the pressure they applied, the padding on the earmuffs was soft but not quite wide enough to not trap my ears. APP - The app detected the headphones as soon as i paired them , it was quick simple and easy to modify the settings of them, but i have to admit disappointment in how light the feature set of the app was , the lack of an equalizer that can be stored on the headphones internal memory and mediocre "smart" capability made the app somewhat pointless. SOUND QUALITY - Given the purpose of this product to be comfortable and "quiet", they meet this purpose in the sense that they aren't particularly loud, however, as a media consuming device, they do have decent sound quality on par with my midlevel quality in-ear headphones, however, the lack of a suitable equalizer doesn't help for tuning to my preference. NOISE CANCELLING - A huge disappointment, I have a generic pair of headphones that is almost identical to this pair in design and feature set which performs on par with these, I am truly disappointed by noise suppression which given the marketing, is one of the primary selling points of these headphones. CONCLUSION - if you want comfort and decent sound quality, these definitely will meet your needs. If you want value for money, these are most certainly not recommended. Given the disappointing quality, I think the pricetag is brand influenced, not justified by the product quality or feature set.
