Bose SoundLink Micro: Small Portable Bluetooth Speaker (Waterproof), Bright Orange

Being blessed with other Bose products the transition from removing the speaker from its usual excellent packaging to playing my first track to it was a mere 60 seconds! absolute Childs play to set up. Same as everyone else who loves music I have a selected few tracks I like to try the new speaker with, 1st on my list is "Wish you were here" by Pink Floyd the speaker performed well with crystal sharp high tones through to full warm acoustics, after playing a few more fav tracks like "Hotel California" and then few others my conclusion is wow I love this puppy already, I have already used it whilst gardening, as its waterproof to a fashion its awesome to take into the bathroom and with the included strap it clips to the window handle :) It offers a great all round sound and versatility second to none! This may take up permanent residence in my camper van so might have to purchase another for use in the house and garden.

It's small but surprisingly powerful i am not an audio savvy person but this little guy serves my needs. Plays great music quality for my room and living room, small that i can carry it around, throw it in my bag, toss it around without worrying itll get damaged being dropped or getting wet. Straps easily on my bike, bag strap and anything you can actually. Used siri and phone calls with this and it's great of course the farther you go away your voice will get altered just like how your phone on speaker mode. My friends are amazed how loud this little dude can be, it wont replace my party or TV surround speakers but this serves its purpose. Youtube did help me a lot on my decision making before my purchase.

Excellent little speaker. Looks feels and sounds great. Lives up to the great reputation of Bose. Easy to set up and get going. Worked well with iPhones and galaxy tablet.

Love this little speaker, easy to use! First impressions are very favourable. Straight out of the box, paired and playing my favourites. Handy for the outdoors, with zero worries about the weather! Just clip it on and go! Sound quality it particularly good, considering the size. The Soundlink Micro really delivers on sound quality in a tiny package. It is difficult to believe the sound quality and bass performance that is available. I don't know why Bose didn't supply a plug for charging. Otherwise when fully charged it goes and goes. I can really recommend this little gem. Well worth the price, and has so much going for it. Another amazing product from BOSE. Thanks!

Summary Pros: Best and loudest sound I've experienced from a small speaker Waterproof Shockproof Great strap to attach to things Cons: Lacks treble and bass heavy No ‘skip track' functionality I'll launch right in! It weighs about as much as a cup of coffee and has a nice design overall. It's got a rubbery-tactile feel and an easy-to-use clip which seems robust and stretches to go around a bag strap, or my bike's handlebars. It has a very simple latch so is easy to use and feels robust. It speaks to you to help with setup and knows the name of my phone...very cool. Setup is easy with the app which is of course, well designed. In use, it's significantly louder than my iPhone 7, perhaps 10x louder. It vibrates a bit when above half volume but won't vibrate off of anything due to the rubbery coating (though it did vibrate my glasses off of it when I left them resting on the speaker!). There's no ability to skip tracks which is a shame, but there's a brilliant volume function. It has more volume options than the phone, meaning one press of the volume up on an iPhone is actually six clicks of volume up on the speaker. This is a good thing! It allows more control over the specific volume. The sound. Well, it does great on a bag or on my bike as you're close to it. In a field it gave enough volume for a few of us at up to around 10m away. It got wet on both occasions and just vibrated the water right out! In the home, it fills my living room enough to create good background music at a party I had, and I can have it at max volume without distortion. I did play about with my phone's EQ to get the right sound for me, as it's good on the mids, but lacking in the treble for my liking. The bass is naturally Bose and deep: it's actually really nice to hear from a little speaker and feels very sub-woofer-y. Volume up and down is quite easy to find. Speaker has more volume options than the phone, meaning one press of the volume up on an iPhone is actually six clicks of volume up on the speaker. This is a good thing! It allows more control over the specific volume. It's quieter on calls than when playing music (likely so the caller doesn't hear it I guess) and calls are actually really good! It's like having your phone on speaker and both parties can hear clearly (think how often that's useful when you're using a Bluetooth speaker, like on your bike!) As calls are good, I dare say this could be easily used as a hands free kit in a car if you didn't have one. It's certainly loud enough for that. Overall, I'm very pleased :)

Ok so I bought this bose speaker for my brother and all imma say is that I'm blown away with the quality of this speaker really like bose is the king of sound like for podcast it's the Best bose is the best I love that is comes with a connect app and it's waterproof keep up the good work bose I'll be your loyal customer

I really love this speaker because it's very easy to carry around and it's silicone makes it easy to grip. I'm usually pretty precautious about protecting my gadgets from getting near water but I'm able to rest easier knowing it is waterproof. It stays charged for hours alone and I can listen to my music without any interruptions. Another feature that I love about it is I can connect my Siri to it to control different songs.

We own many Bose products in our home including headphones, home theatre and WiFi speakers. All of them are great, but this little Bose Micro is our favorite Bose release in years! Seriously, you MUST take one home with you. It just excels at everything it is made to do. SOUND - Every frequency is well represented. I can hear every detail of every song. It is uncanny for a speaker of this size. The bass also gives a nice punch that sounds very pleasing. We own another similarly sized speaker from another brand that we thought sounded good for its small form factor. This little Bose leaves the other brand in the dust. The sound is just so rich and warm that it exudes quality. The only negative to the sound is that the signature changes when the speaker is played at or above about 95% volume. Most noticeably the bass decreases. Even so, it still sounds much better than our other speaker with a clip. RUGGEDNESS - This Micro is rugged! The only thing that you need to know is that my two boys were so intrigued that the Micro is shock resistant and water proof that they took turns dropping the speaker on the floor. Normally I would be horrified, but the speaker seems to be made for this kind of abuse. My boys also took turns running water on the speaker under the faucet at the kitchen sink. They were intrigued with how water splashes out of the Micro as the bass kicked in on the song they were playing. Needless to say, the speaker is going to hold-up just fine in everyday use. PORTABILITY - The size is small enough to wear and the speaker feels great in the hand. The silicon strap allows you to secure it just about anywhere. Also, the speaker is shaped such that you actually can just set it just about anywhere. While our Bose Revolve needs a flat surface to stay upright, the Micro has a very low center of gravity. It stays where you put it despite an uneven surface or incline. Awesome! The only problem with the Bose Micro is that now everyone in our house wants one. This unit is going to my older son to use as he juggles school, sports practices and church youth activities. For everyone else, I imagine that the Bose Micro will be tops on their Christmas list. I know it will be on mine :)
