My husband truly swears by this He has been using it for over 3 years and he'll never use anything else again. We got this when he noticed his hair thinning out significantly and although it took about 6 month to see any improvement, I can honestly say that even I can tell his hair is thicker.
My order arrived almost quicker than I could have purchased it at a store. Also, a very curious thing, the last bottle I bought was from Ulta and it was a lighter color and thinner consistency. I noticed it immediately when I purchased it and was disappointed, assuming that Bosley was trying to increase their profit margin, but when this bottle arrived, it was the thick, orange consistency that it used to be. So, who knows what really happened, but I was very pleased with the timely manner in which it arrived and the quality of the product was top knotch.
This product is my favorite now since they stopped making the American Crew Revitalizing products.Started using Bosley because of how bad Nioxin was for my already falling out hair. Massive amounts of hair loss using Nioxin, did not always do this to my hair, seems they moved manufacturing to Mexico...there lies the answer in why terrible now. Bosley is keeping the little hair I have on my head where it belongs
I've been using Bosley shampoo and conditioner along with Bosley volumizing and thickening leave in conditioner. My hair looks and feels so much thicker! I have lots of new hair as well but I'm also using Rogaine for women so it's probably due to a combination of using all the products, taking better care of my hair, and eating better.
I've been using this product since December 2013. I am Hispanic and I have naturally curly hair. After childbirth and hitting my 30' the hair is starting to thin visibly. I don't believe that it has helped regrow the hair, but it has stopped the hair from falling at an alarming rate. Some hair still falls and that's normal, but my hair is shinier and it feels thicker and healthier than when I started the treatment.
The product is fine, but be careful you are ordering the correct item. I thought I was getting a deal on the thickening treatment, but this is actually just the conditioner. It was deceiving because it showed on the same page as a smaller thickening treatment product. Double check that you are getting what you want. I ended up keeping it even though I had just ordered a shampoo/conditioning set. I'll eventually use it.
I had been using Nizoral with great success for a year now. I have a sore scalp, followed by hair loss. I was diagnosed with chronic telogen effluvium, seborrheic dermatitis (although I never scale or flake at all) and androgenetic alopecia. The other shampoo is all of a sudden impossible to find so I thought I'd give this a try. I've tried all other salycilic acid shampoos, ketoconazole, zinc, etc and none work for me. This shampoo does take the soreness away if I use it every day, so it must be working somewhat. None of the other shampoos even help with soreness. I have yet to see any regrowth, but it's only been about 2 months. I will say that I only use this product on my scalp and not the rest of my hair because I don't like the way it makes my hair feel. I am used to using Redken and Pureology and this shampoo leaves my hair feeling dried out and makes it look like I have split ends when I use it on the rest of my hair. But, it's worth using just on the scalp. Also, I have copper color in my hair which fades really quickly, but this doesn't seem to make it fade any faster than any other shampoo which is a good thing.
The commercials you have on TV about this product is very hard to believe. I have used this product before, and at this time will continue to use it, but it really does not do what it says it will, especially about the man who has just a few strands of hair on the top of his scalp, and they by using this product, he has a full head of hair! Really!
Wish I could've tested it before buying for this reason..So after the first use, my hair felt more dry and stripped of natural oils. At first, I didn't think much of it but after using it every 1- 2 days, I noticed how dry and frizzy my hair became. The only way to counter act this is to add tons of conditioner to the ends of my hair. I never had to do this with my store bought conditioner. My question is, how is this conditioner if it doesn't condition? ... As far as improving hair growth, it seems to increase volume, frizzy volume but that's the only benefit I see. Not worth my money. I'm def going back to my original conditioner.
This shampoo/conditioner is absolutely awful. It dried out and tangled my hair, it doesn't have a particularly good smell and although I used it for several weeks, didn't really see any noticeable results. It's not worth the money or the damage it caused. I went back to Nioxin and my hair looks and feels much better and healthier again.
