I was really impressed with the screen size, the ease of functionality was extraordinarily simple and I would recommend this particular Boss item with 10 THUMBS UP Y'ALL!!!

I have a 2014 Outback, which lacks a touchscreen. I had been searching for a touchscreen car stereo system that doesn't need extensive installation efforts when I came across this one. Installation is relatively straightforward, and it is quite user friendly. The sound quality is great, making my long daily commute far less dull. The Bluetooth connectivity functions well, too. This car stereo system is a valuable addition, and it enhances my driving experience without spending a lot.

So far so good. The adjustable height on the touchscreen goes low enough to be almost below the center heat/AC vents, high enough to be able to see the climate controls if needed, and is forward enough to be able to use them even if you can't see them. So far the quality is great. Nice clear screen that's bright enough in the daylight and dim enough to not be distracting at night (so far). Sound quality is better than expected since I'm still using the factory speakers in the car. I haven't tested MP3/FLAC playback yet, so I can't comment on that. Bluetooth audio and Android Auto are working perfectly. Installation was quite easy. The manual details all the required connections/wire colors. Running the parking break connection wire was a bit of a pain, but that's a fault of me and the car not the unit.

I'm skeptical of low price units like this but boss delivered hard on this. I even had some set up questions it was able to call three times and within 3 minutes able to speak to an actual installation expert. Plus they have a 3-year warranty. they even have it set up so you can just ground out the e-brake cable. no fancy adapter needed.

Works great when it works. I will be driving down the road and it will disconnect randomly and multiple times. I was expecting a consistent connection where I didn't have to navigate the system while driving to reconnect. I used it for Maps and music and I can't get to my job site when it disconnects randomly.

I received this item and it was missing all paperwork and harness. So I went to Walmart and tried to exchange and they have to send to seller and then I get a refund I don't want a refund I want the radio I ordered and all the parts. Why does this have to be so difficult. Now I have to wait for them to receive really .
