BOSS Audio Systems BVNV9384RC Car Navigation, Bluetooth, 6.2” LCD, DVD, USB, SD

This in dash system is exactly what I needed to update my 04 Blazer. It has everything I needed for Bluetooth connection to my phone for hands free calls and music streaming. The navigation works great and the back up camera is sweet! If you are mechanically inclined and can watch some YouTube install videos this is fairly easy to install.

It is better than what I had before, but I expected some standard features that other audio receivers have. The blue tooth does not have a favorites option nor does keep in memory the previous incoming nor out going calls. I cant change the home screen to something other than "BOSS". I'm still figuring stuff out. The most disappointing thing was the back up camera. While installing it, it practically came apart in my hands. If the company can replace the back up camera I think I can handle the rest of the minor flaws. Right now I give it 3 stars but it could have been at least a four star if the camera worked.

Looks and feels great. Volume Knob is a plus.

Unit is very difficult to operate because the touch screen is hyper sensitive. The GPS is awful. We used it on a trip to Maryland, from Florida, and found it so inaccurate we used our phone. It was awful. It would tell us to exit the highway and then get right back on. ?? On many occasions it told us to turn on roads that weren't even there. We did not trust it while navigating cities, either. Terrible GPS. I would never buy it again.

This requires to install the wire out on the dash for the gps to work. I returned this radio for that reason and also its not a plug and play wiring system

Just what I was looking for

I had it installed with with a upgraded B UP camera and work great and sounds great once you fix the settings. take time to set and get to know your system ! It makes a world of difference when you adjust your factory settings!

A lot of features I didn’t expect for the price. Very good product. I intend to purchase another for my second car.

I recieved this radio for chritmas and installed it today. And I can honestly say this is probably the BEST radio i’ve had. It was super easy to install. The only issue was getting the camera wired up, but overall I can’t complain!

Just had installed today and it works and looks beautiful. Backup camera is awesome too. plays homemade dvd and cd's pretty flawlessly and sound is like being in a theater. Haven't tried usb or sd for audio or video but I'm sure they will work lovely. Unit is simple to operate and is probably the "best bang for the buck" system out there as I could find no otherbrands that would match it for the price
