It would work good if it fit inside my 2000 Mercedes.

For the price it does it job

The Boss stereo equipment is not top-tier like Kenwood or Alpine, but I've had no issues with the $1k head units I've bought. The touch screen is impressive, with decent graphics and sensitivity similar to a modern phone. The boot time is quick, menus are easy to navigate, and the touch screen is responsive. However, there's a strange issue with the volume being loud when the system turns on, and phone calls have the opposite problem of starting at normal volume then going silent. This is frustrating, but I hope it's an isolated incident. Overall, it's a good unit, especially for using CarPlay with an Apple device.

The design is well thought out with adjustable screen and stable positioning. The ball and socket mount offers versatile viewing angles. The volume knob is conveniently located. Despite lacking some advanced features, it functions effectively. Android Auto and back-up camera work well. I wish the daytime screen could be dimmed more. Overall, it's a worthwhile purchase and I'm pleased with its performance.

After connecting all the electrical components carefully, I still face occasional audio issues when starting my car. Despite being confident in my connections, I often need to reset the system or restart the car to fix the problem. I recommend investing in a higher quality audio system like Bose, JBL, or Alpine to avoid these issues.

If you have a Samsung phone, I suggest avoiding Android Auto due to frequent connection drops. Boss Help may require expensive cord purchases. I received an exchanged unit but encountered the same issue. In contrast, the iPhone performs excellently with no connectivity problems.

The head unit I purchased has trouble running Android Auto. Customer support explained that it does not support Google Pixel and Samsung phones due to hardware limitations. Unfortunately, there is no fix available and they cannot update the Android Auto version.

I find this deck to be quite good overall. The screen size is impressive, especially when I placed it in my F150. The sound quality is excellent at around level 30 volume, but it doesn't sound as good at higher or lower levels. The only downside is the cheap feeling of the 8-bit beep when navigating the screen.

I purchased a replacement radio unit, the BE10ACP with a rear cam bundle, and found that the revised design with a built-in plug connection worked great. The sound quality exceeded my expectations compared to other brands I tried. I wish the screen rotated like my previous unit, but overall, I recommend this radio with a revised rating of 3 stars due to the initial replacement and lack of announcement about the new version.

This stereo was frustrating with constant disconnections from Android Auto when using Samsung s21 phones. After trying various settings adjustments without success, I discovered that using a high-speed USB cable resolved the issue. It's disappointing that Boss didn't include this essential cable with the stereo. Despite the improvement, I still experience frequent disconnects, possibly due to compatibility issues with Samsung phones. I wish I could return this product.
