I found this amplifier to be an incredible deal, much cheaper than buying from the manufacturer. The price to wattage ratio is unbeatable, making it a better option than some pricier models. The assortment of level controls is great, and I plan to buy another for my other vehicle.
The reviews are about a subwoofer that delivers powerful bass and enhances the overall listening experience. Users appreciate the deep bass output and the impact it has on their music and movies. They find the subwoofer to be a great addition to their home entertainment system, providing a rich and immersive sound experience. The compact size and easy setup also receive positive feedback, making it a convenient choice for various audio setups. Overall, users are satisfied with the performance and value of this subwoofer.
I own a 12" audiophonics digital max sub rated for 2000 watts wired to 2 ohms in a custom slot-ported box. The amp performs excellently, handling low 20Hz notes with ease. It's a powerful amp for its price. I plan to pair it with a sundown or similar subwoofer in the future.
nice bass output...powerful
Initially skeptical due to the amp's reputation, but pleasantly surprised by the performance when connected to two Rockville K6 10-inch subs running at 1 ohm. The PD 5000 dynoed at 1500 RMS, exceeding expectations for the price paid. Satisfied with the power output and overall value.
The unit worked well for about two weeks, then suddenly stopped. I followed Janette's advice and sent it to the repair department, but it's been six weeks with no resolution. Warranty service is slow or non-existent. I recommend avoiding this product.
I didn't like this product at all. It stopped working after just two days and about 15 songs. The only good thing was the lights. It didn't overheat because it didn't work properly. The bass was good for a short time. Overall, it's not worth the money. Save up for a better amp instead.
The outdoor speaker system I bought from Boss failed after three years of seasonal use. The capacitors inside exploded, leaking, and the amp is very heavy due to lead weights. I feel deceived by Boss and will not buy from them again. The system is not even close to 5000 watts, more like 350.
I connected it to a 10-inch Kicker subwoofer and it worked well initially. However, after a month, it stopped playing sound even though it still turns on. I checked all connections and fuses but couldn't fix it. When I tried my old amp, it worked perfectly. I am very disappointed with this product.
My device caught on fire. It was a terrifying experience. I had to act quickly to extinguish the flames and prevent any further damage. I'm grateful that I was able to resolve the situation without any injuries or major consequences. It was a reminder to always be cautious with electronic devices and to prioritize safety above all else.
