We ordered this coat rack for our church foyer. The wood not only matches the interior woodwork of the church, but is a perfect fit for the chosen location. It has the formal look needed, is sturdy, and we have received several compliments from our congregation. The only ""would be better if"": that the anchors match the wall studs. We put up a back board and installed the rack on the board.

My new coat and hat rack is here and already being used. I made my selection and ordered my rack at 9:PM on Wednesday and by 10:AM Saturday morning we were already using it. The rack is sturdy and beautiful. I chose free shipping and still it was here by Saturday morning. That was quick and I love the rack. Thanks and never lose that kind of quick service. Happy Camper!

I bought three of these for our small church building. They were quite easy to assemble - sure, one had to be a little careful holding all the slats together when putting in the first screw, especially when working by oneself, but that was no big deal. My wife helped me with one, and an extra pair of hands made it very simple. The light oak really looks nice in our church, and the racks were immediately in use (January in Maryland people wear coats!). I am very satisfied with the coat racks, and I believe they will be durable.

It takes a little balancing act to get the rods and metal pole in the cavities. Cavities for the wood poles are not deep enough and I recommend installing screws at each end in for all three wood poles to secure them. It would have been helpful if they would have been pre-drilled at the factory. Don't go too deep when countersinking the holes.

The bars were not all exactly the same size, making it not fit together properly and overall just impossible to put together on your own. Will not be buying home decor or furnishings from Walmart again.

Let me start by saying that I have assembled many furniture items much larger than this one. The design of having the slats and rod sections simply fit into small ""nooks"" in the wood of the side and center supports and then trying to hold this together with 3 screws is almost criminally insufficient. I tried additional screws, wood glue and other ""fixes"" to no avail. [...] Simple design changes such as bringing the rods through holes in the supports and better attachment of the slats would resolve these issues.

So disappointed in the quality of this product. Only two screws came with it to assemble and attach to the wall. One slat was too short and kept falling out which made assembly so frustrating! It's not the quality I need for our professional office. Not a keeper! :(

This is not a well made product. It was almost impossible to assemble. After a trip to the hardware store to purchase screws that were not included, a slat still kept falling out of the end pieces. I was so frustrated, I packed it up and returned it.
