I like the Boston Original Formula for my hard contacts (also recommended by my /doctor!) and it's getting hard to find, so I was very happy to find it online at Walmart!
It is difficult to find this contact solution in local stores in my area. Rather than taking the extra time to run from store to store, it is much easier to buy it here and then it comes right to the house. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Boston Bausch Lomb makes several different lens conditioning products -- the original, the advance and the simplus (all in one). Having had hard contacts for nearly 50 years (gas permeable since the time they came out) I can confidently say the Boston Original formula is the best version. It is not plasticized like the advance version and it simply works the best.
works great for (rigid) gas permeable contact lenses. boston original conditioning solution is almost impossible to find in stores, so stock up while you can! i am allergic to the cleaners in the other boston products and this is the only one that does not have it!
Fast delivery! Correct item. Works well. This is a relatively new product for me and is my 2nd purchase of this item. I bought the Boston Original Conditioning solution because other reviewers said it is less likely to irritate eyes than the Boston Advanced. So far so good.
I think we all want a competitor to AMZN to exist. This I the first item I have purchased there that I could have used the big A for. the big W did well. Rating the product itself is foolish - contact lens fluid prescribed by your doctor is like paying taxes - gotta do it. I have been using it for 20 years.
STARTED WEARING RIGID GAS PERMEABLE CONTACTS. THIS SOLUTION IS GOOD TO RINSE AND SOAK IN. GOOD PFRODUCT
I was pleased with my shopping experience. My only concern was that the package was left on the porch when I was not at home and it was in the teens that day so I don't know if it had started to freeze before I brought it in. It didn't freeze solid so I'm hoping it didn't hurt the product.
I am experimenting with the few GP conditioning products that are left on the market. A review said this was the original formula. It is not. It is the improved formula. Anyway I tried it again. I just can't stand the preservative Chlorhexidine. I am sure some people like it but for me in a couple of hours my eyes get dry and itch and the contacts get blurry. I like the viscosity but the ingredients did not work for me. My last resort is Lobob which I used long ago. When I try it I will write a review of it.
The name of this item is deceiving. This item is NOT Boston Simplus. It is Boston Original Conditioning Solution. Boston Simplus is a solution that cleans and conditions lenses. Both items are 3.5 oz so it is easy to confuse if you don't look at the picture carefully. I ordered 4 bottles and did not discover the mistake until it was delivered. Did not use.
