I used to be an avid mountain biker but I have not been riding for several years. I needed something to help me get fit again, and recharge my interest in cycling. The C7 has turned out to be the answer. This bike is fun and easy to use. The JRNY app is motivating. I supplement the JRNY rides with basic rides using my big screen TV and YouTube videos that other riders post. Indoor cycling isn't boring anymore. I have the bike conveniently set-up in the family room, so I tend to hop on it several times a day, sometimes just for 5 minutes to get the blood flowing and other times for longer, sweaty, workout rides. I was not looking for the Peloton experience with an instructor shouting motivational stuff at me ... I just wanted to get spinning by myself in a virtual but immersive environment. I love this bike so much! I had wanted the Velocore (and I do think that I would enjoy and make use of the leaning feature) but this C7 is excellent quality, sturdy, and quiet, all at an exceptional price ... bang for the buck! TIP: Purchase an iPad Mini 6 screen protector ... it fits over the video portion of the C7 screen really well.
As a Mom of boys who is trying to get in shape and also shares this with the boys, (there are 4 in my house), this has been a great item to our household. We range in size from 5ft to 6ft 5in & we can all easily adjust the set and handlebars to what works for each of us. We each have our own accounts set up so we can easily keep track of workouts
Now that I work from home I am able to start my day, lunch hour and end my day doing something good for myself! I love the convenience of having the ability to ride through the streets of Amsterdam, Paris or The English Countryside without leaving the house.
I am trying to exercise more and needed something other than my elliptical to keep me engaged. This is my first stationary bike - it is comfortable, has water bottle storage, came with a heart rate wrist monitor, and a free subscription to Journey for one year, giving me access to different workouts and apps.
I have been in search of an exercise machine that could help me get back in shape without being too hard on my feet. I toyed with getting one of these all winter and finally decided I had to do something for myself and pulled the trigger. Initially I was a bit concerned that I allowed myself to settle for a model with such a tiny screen, this turned out to be a non issue. I have only used the bike five times so far but wow, what a workout. I have been following the adaptive trainer workouts and have been enjoying the rides through various scenery along with music. This bike is pretty much everything I needed at a third of the price of some other companies who refuse to ship to my door. Had a bit of a problem with assembly, the right pedal would not screw in no matter what I tried. Thankfully my brother is a mechanic and had all the required tools to fix the thread on the pedals. I think my next purchase will be shoes with cleats as the tow cages on the pedals are secure but are hard on the toes.
I love the programs and the screen. This model was a great deal. My husband and I each have our own profile which makes it perfect to keep track. I do wish the seat was a bit more comfy and that it came in more but it's tolerable.
I've been using my C7 to prepare for bike season and to keep my cardiovascular system fit. I love the bike and I love the JRNY app. The customised and customizable workouts are great and allow me to get the most out of the time I spend on the bike. My only issue with this bike, is the fit, as it does not seem to be made for short people. The ability to move the handlebars or the seat just one inch closer would make a huge difference. Aside from that... I would recommend this bike to anyone who loves to ride and stay fit.
Bike is super easy to put together and super easy to use. Really glad I got this instead of paying for a monthly membership to a spin class. Instructors are awesome and not obnoxious. There are rides that take you virtually through cities across the world which is fun. The only downside and it's been happening just recently is that sometimes my classes disconnect. Don't know if it's my internet or if it's something with the wiring but it's not a deal breaker at all. Just either restart or have to do another workout the next day so I'm not late for work. #sweepstakes
Assembly and setup was smooth and easy. The bike looks great and runs silently! We've loved the trial membership of JRNY so far. The screen is a bit small and the speakers a bit weak, but when your face is that close to the screen, you don't really need it any larger or louder. It would have been nice to have an adjustable screen position to allow for larger books or tablets in the device holder. Overall very pleased with this purchase. If I had to make the decision over again, I would make the same choice.
I use this bike 4 mornings a week. It offers a vast range of options for training. It is comfortable, easy to adjust the resistance, and sturdy. I have used it 9 times in the last two weeks since I got it and the monitor has crashed 3 out of those 9 times. I would say the bike is solid but the screen kind of blows. If I were to do it over I would have bought the c6 and just used my iPad with the free JRNY app.
