The only machine I used was the elliptical at the gym. I am a mother of 2 with weak knees. I drive over 100 miles a day to and from work. I do not have time to go to the gym anymore. These 14 min workouts WORK. Every time I work out I feel stronger and it makes me sweat. The Max Trainer 9 is the best for the price out there. I have several friends that have the Max Trainer 9 it was highly recommended. They didn't lie when they said that I would love it. It's compact and it's gray for small spaces.
My wife and I are in our 70s. Many of the losses associated with old age are due to sedentary life style, and so we have set up a home gym. We were not getting enough out of our elliptical and stationary bike, and we wanted better conditioning for skiing. The M9 is challenging. It gauges where you are at the beginning and gradually improves your conditioning. The feedback is very helpful. I can't say it's a pleasure to use because it is difficult and demanding, but it is satisfying. We are pleased with it and look forward to using it for years to come.
I have been putting off getting back in shape for years. When I hit my all time highest weight I searched for a good home solution. The machine arrived faster than expected and was easy to setup. Overall I'm very happy with the purchase and am seeing the benefits after a couple of weeks.
I have been using this product everyday . I cannot lie it isn't what I expected its more of a stepper then an elliptical however im hoping I get used to it, Its definitely a little uncomfortable utilizing however im just hoping I get used to it and I start seeing results soon..
#sweepstakes The actual exercise portion (mechanics) of the M9 works just fine and is sturdy. - but the console is extremely frustrating. If it gets disconnected or can't get internet that I can't workout. That is EXTREMELY frustrating and pretty much makes it worthless and I would not have purchased had I known this. - The actual console NEVER turns off. it stays on 24/7. I have to either unplug the power cord or manually click "logout". which is also extremely frustrating, because then everytime I want to use it, I have to enter my full email and password to use the darn thing.
Machine is great love it. Can't recommend just because the included tablet freezes almost every workout and reboots losing all my workout information. Hoping it gets fixed with updates. Get the cheaper machine and buy a separate tablet. Tried support and they keep saying updates on the way but I'll believe it when I see it. Kinda feel like I wasted my money.
So far 3 days in a row (my first 3 days) the system sputters and cuts off in the middle or end of a workout. I lose all data. When I am completely finished for the day and shut it down, the system says "Shutting Down" and then restarts itself over and over, I finally have to unplug it from the wall. When I select alternative rock music the program mixes in other genres of music. I will be calling Customer Service.
The tablet hasn't worked. I called. They sent USB. It didn't work. I called back, said the USB wasn't for this machine. She had me disassemble machine at top and bottom to disconnect and reconnect all cables. Still didn't work. She is sending new cable and a technician is supposed to call. Warranty starts from the day it arrived. Not the day it is operational. ♀️♀️
I want to give the M9 five stars, but the resistance stopped working after one month of use. I now have to wait weeks for a replacement part and a technician. Additionally, the console regularly shuts off or reboots mid-workout. It's a great machine when it's working, but overall I'd give it a junk rating given that I've experienced so many problems after just one month of use.
This thing has not worked correctly since day one. I can never get through to technical services and when I did all they did was send out parts they don't have a clue. The android platform appears to be the problem. I want this thing to be out of my house now.
