Bowflex SelectTech 552 Dumbbell, Adjustable, Single, Free 2-Month JRNY Membership

There are a lot of options in this category and I went down the rabbit hole looking up reviews for all of them. I'm sure others are great but these check every box. I bought these for a tiny home gym/office/guest room setup and its perfect. If you are motivated to work out at home, something like this is a must have. Use the dumbells a few times a week after working all day and after being burnt out from the 12 plus hour shift. I get a sudden burst of energy like a second wind for the rest of my day. Kinda amazing actually. Love the product. Stand behind it 100% thank you bowflex!!

I've been wanting a set of these weights for a while. Don't know what took me so long to add them to the home gym. I needed to add additional weights in order to start a popular body building home fitness program and just didn't think it would be a great idea to have a bunch of weights scattered everywhere. So I chose these instead. The only drawback to using these during that program is the drop set portion. I still resort back to a couple of dumbbells for those sets. I'm thinking of investing in the 1090's in the future. Maybe the updated version will be available by then. I noticed the 552's are getting one later this year.

I am in the process of converting a third bedroom in to gym in order to avoid costly memberships and crowds. I have a Bowflex Treadclimber and these weights. I am almost 50 and used dumbbells over 60 lbs in my "stronger days", but for general fitness 52.5 lbs is enough. I purchased the stand and 4.1 bench. The mini gym is nearly complete.

I bought this as a gift for my wife and she loves it. My wife works out from videos and she had the small individual (5lbs, 8lbs and 10lbs)weight while the instructor has the bowflex. She mentioned it to me and I ordered them from you guys. She loves it because she can used then interchangeably without much effort and she is now using 12lbs which she would have never got to if it was not for bowflex weight.

I'm loving these - less money spent in the long run rather than replacing weights and allows me to advance seamlessly rather than waiting to buy a new set. The 2.5 increments helps me upgrade upper body easier. They do feel a little rickety and not the weight is too spread out BUT still amazing. #sweepstakes

This is a great piece of equipment. You can quickly adjust the amount of weight and target the right amount for each muscle group. One word of caution: get the stand too!!! Setting them on the floor is the wrong way to go. If you do not have a shelf or some other wAy to elevate the set, you will hurt your back !

Using the Bowflex SelectTech 522 Dumbbells are an integral part of maintaining my health as I rapidly approach 60 years young.

I have purchased more than 15 pairs of the 552's for my fitness business. During Covid they changed the base. It is now hollow and flimsy. This makes them extremely difficult to carry them without the underside cutting into your fingers. Unfortunately this is a huge problem for me as I carry them from client to client. Will they be making the base the original way again or did they cheapen this wonderful product to cut costs?
