[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As I've grown older, regular running and heavy lifting have become much harder and much harder to recover from. Indoor biking is the perfect answer. I've found myself achieving much higher heart rate data and calorie burn in 15 minutes on the Velocore bike than running with almost zero impact on my lower joints. I combine this with the Bowflex Max trainer and not only do I get an excellent workout, there is almost no recovery time.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the versatility of this bike and it's great quality. I like the JRNY app for all of it's features, especially the guided scenic rides, but I wish the JRNY app was a little smoother. It doesn't power down when I tell it to and sometimes the music doesn't play...but it will play after a restart.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Been a runner for more than 25 years and all that running and my age at 60 has given me degenerative discs in my neck so no more running. Bought the Velocore and it's a whole new work out regime for me. It makes me work harder than any runs ever did. Excellent work out machine!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Like the lean feature. I believe this will help prevent overuse injuries. I also like the adaptive workouts. Only negative is the adjustment indices on the seat are hard to see to adjust seat between users.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Set up is easy and parts are organized. You can tell right away that the product is made well. I was worried about the bikes ability to lean and how long it would last. So far, it's fantastic. The locking mechanism is strong. I'm shock at how quiet this bike it. I'm so glad I went with the 22in screen. The one negative is the bike seat. For everyone who doesn't cycle all the time, the seat gets uncomfortable. I don't think this is a Bowflex issue though. I bought padded bike shorts to alleviate pain from sitting on a seat. Overall, I am impressed with this bike and I recommend it to everyone!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My iFIT studio bike just lacked tracking features and was not challenging enough to improve performance. The iFIT required a subscription to unlock additional features which was a negative for me. It was a good beginners bike, period. I decided to treat myself with a more advanced bike this Christmas. Did a lot of research and decided on the VeloCore 22. I liked bow-flex bikes because a mandated subscription was not required as found with other models. Outstanding bike and no disappointments with my purchase of the VeloCore. I normally don't use subscriptions. But, the JRNY subscription is very reasonably priced and offers great variations of workouts to keep you engaged. Thanks BowFlex its rare in todays world to see quality products at any price.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's a well made bike, even for a larger man. I would like more streaming apps, and would love if you didn't have to pay for a subscription to use.
The BowFlex VeloCore Bike is easy to use and you will get a good workout if you push yourself. Pushing yourself is easier with the JRNY app, which you need a subscription for. I thought the lean feature would be harder than it was, but that doesn't seem like a challenge.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Finally recieved the velicore flex after almost two months of waiting. Glad I went with the 22" screen! The sound and video quality is great. I put it on our second floor which was a pain getting 150 lbs up the stairs. The box is flimsy, if I did it again, I'd take everything out of the box first. Only complaint is the chair is sooo uncomfortable, I'm going tk have to buy a cover or a totally new seat. Used it for 10 minutes before getting bruised and had to bike standing up.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We received our Bowflex Velocore and immediately set it up. The touchscreen would not work. The only customer service to correct the issue is via email. What could have been accomplished in a 15 minute phone call took 2 weeks with back and forth email communication. It was eventually decided that we needed a new touchscreen and the incorrect size was sent. Now it has been almost one month. The bike itself is nice but it is very frustrating when you pay extra for a 22 inch screen that cannot be used. We are also paying for a JRNY service that cannot be utilized yet and wasting money on that subscription. I am tempted to return the whole set up and buy a Peloton. Customer service is not ideal. Just be prepared if you have any issues they will not be absolved timely, if at all.
