I personally needed an extra scent. You can clean all you want but a touch of a scent doesn't hurt. It works for you All the time from as soon as you sit, till you flush and out the door you go. Not everyone can stand the scented sprays from the can. I always use Great Value Disinfected Spray for wiping down the toilet sit especially if you have kids and they are boys. Now it has happened to many people who have had theses items in their toilets and it fell into and down as it clogged the pipes. I personally attached dental floss to the product and the toilet as a backup. Have done it for years. That was an advice from a plumber who had to unclog the pipes. He wasn't there because of that! Its because we were using too much of 2 ply toilet paper. 3 daughters, me = 4. Drop in's? Careful anything bleach ruins the insides in the tank. As far this product flushes away with the water. The plumber gave us good advice to girls and I ended up married to this man for 36 years now.
There nothing that grosses me out more than a toilet bowl that has pink algae or black mold spots colonizing in it, not to mention poop particles stuck to the bowl after flushing. These bowl deodorizer wafers really help. I use the blue tablets in the reserve tank, scrubbing bubbles gel in the bowl and these. The combo really keeps the bowl super clean. Minimal bowl cleaning weekly. A game changer. Let's face it NO ONE wants to do toilet duty but if you keep the gross down it is a quick swish of the brush with little to no yuck!
These things have been around forever. There's a reason for that. They keep your entire bathroom smelling fresh no matter how often it's used. They are so economical and I can't imagine why everyone doesn't use them. I keep one in my toilet bowl at all times and a spare in the bathroom pantry.
Great Bowl Deodorizer - Stays Put, Works Well I bought this Bowl Fresh deodorizer because I was tired of those little in-tank hangers that dissolve so quickly and leave blue streaks. I wanted something simpler and less messy to keep the bathroom smelling neutral between cleanings. This little puck is perfect for that. It was really easy to set up. You just peel off the adhesive strip on the back and stick it right under the rim of your toilet bowl, out of sight. That's a big plus—it doesn't float around or get in the way of cleaning. The pleasant scent is noticeable when you walk into the room, but it's not overpowering or like a chemical air freshener bomb went off. It just keeps things fresh. I do have one minor gripe. The strength of the scent does seem to fade a bit after a couple of weeks. It's still working and the bathroom smells fine, but that initial fresh burst isn't as strong. It's not a dealbreaker for me, just something to note.
This reminds me strongly of those potent, industrial strength toilet sanitizers in gas station bathrooms. The toilet now smells strongly of chemicals instead of crap or urine but for my home I would prefer something that smells pleasant. This does not. At least in my opinion.
Your best bet because the very strong scent of the product, which reminds me of being in the restroom at a baseball game. Is best to put in the toilet tank rather than the bowl. Then you won't stink up the nearby areas in your home. Unless you like that kind of smell. No one here unfortunately does. Probably best to use the other un over powering scented tablets you put in the tank. To each is own. 😉
To be honest I can't smell the scent of this product at all. Bought like 3 times to make sure. It has no scent. Don't work. I don't recommend this product.
The smell of this product is absolutely horrible and when you put it in a small space it's unbearable. I threw it outside in the trash can and I can still smell it.
Oh Gagg me with a spoon!!! 🤮 I won't go to roadside RR's RestRooms when traveling because they smell like this!!!! Thank God I got another brand I knew I liked!
Need to be PINE or LEMON or ?? not even a CLEAN SMELL ---just a MOTHBALL SMELL ---YUCK!! smelled like old type used GENERATIONS AGO?? BLEACH ones or CLOROX ---is not as bad as this
