I bought 6 solid color shirts for my 5 year old grandson. Since following stay at home orders I have made lots of dresses for his 3 1/2 year old sister so I bought the shirts to appliqué some of his favorite things onto...space ship, pirate, robots... I was very impressed with the price, quality and how quickly they arrived. And he was delighted to get something "Grammie made" just like his sister.

This is a good basic shirt for layering.

So, first let me say that this rating applies to the t-shirts themselves, and also to my satisfaction with the purchase. It's really too bad that they don't break out those two categories. The t-shirts: I was happy to find them in black (black is surprisingly hard to find). But in this day and age, cotton t-shirts have the capability of being sooo much softer, that there really is no excuse, in my opinion, to still be selling the rougher textured tees of the past. These are your typical t-shirts that feel similar to those given out for free with company logos on them as an advertisement at events. They do the job, but could be a lot better. In the end, I'm just using them as sleep shirts on both boys. Satisfaction with purchase: I had ordered these black tees in two sizes for both of my sons. The smaller size was on backorder, and said it'd be available approximately the following week. Quite some time went by before I received the larger shirts, and the smaller shirts were still on backorder. Eventually, Hanes just cancelled the order, so now I have shirts for my older son, but not the younger. They're extremely basic plain black tees... I'm not sure what the problem is with restocking them.

There nothing soft about these shirts, they were hard and thin. These are not the normal Hanes shirt that I am use too. you get what you pay for. These shirts are shirts that your child can play around in nothing to purchase for them if you're trying to find something nice for them to wear.

I needed a teal colored t-shirt for my kid. I bought this because it was just the right color on the web page. I looked at it on 3 different computers/devices and it showed as teal. The shirt that I received was not the color shown - it was more blue than green. Spent a lot of time looking for the right thing and several days for it to arrive, and then had to start over elsewhere as i couldn't use it for the intended purpose.
