With these knives they sharpen every time I take them out and put them away. Bonus is my wife likes the visual look of them. Not sure of the longevity as I only had them for a few months. But when the knives come with a lifetime warranty, it's a no brainer.

Love the self sharpening feature and I didn't need steak knives so this set was perfect for what I needed. They are a little heavy to hold but I'll get used to it!

Love these knives! I've always wanted Henckels smooth knives. They were worth the wait. Don't touch the edge of the knife for any reason. You will get cut! Ask me how I know.

Great quality knives for a steal! Had been shopping around for a decent knife set so this was a no brainer to purchase. I really like the idea of the self sharpening knife slots for a long life on these too.

The concept with the sharpener in the block was good but the knives are pretty lightweight and two of them came with chips and rough edges in the cutting edge which I am still trying to get out with a blade sharpener without further ruining the knives. I guess you get what you pay for. They cut good but not sure how long they will last.

It is heavy duty and well made except its hugh!!! It sticks out like a sore thumb because I lack counterspace. Going to return it this week and look for another smaller version of it.
