Brach's Chocolate Stars Candy, 10.5 oz

We are always looking for brachs chocolate stars. It was great to be able to find them through Walmart.

This item tasted old…the price was astronomical for the product received. I was hoping to find the same taste I enjoyed years ago. Very disappointed.

The chocolate tasted more like carob. The candies were slightly gritty, not like the smooth candy that I hoped for.

I have been looking for the original Brach's chocolate stars. $20 is absolutely obscene for a 10 oz. Bag but I ate it because I want those to make Christmas cookies. This bag must be 40 years old !!! I have now tasted stale bad chocolate !!! Not a good experience especially for $20 !!!

I received a package that was stuffed into my mailbox. When I opened it, the chocolate tasted old and very dried out. And the stale taste was very unpleasant, as only old chocolate can taste! I had four pieces , and then threw the rest out, was an old, nasty tasting candy! I believe Walmart, the Walton family, the richest I know of, has lost everything that Sam Walton started and he had true and honest care for America! But the minute he died, his whole family forgot his dreams, and cares, and went for the money. Sam Walton could have been the richest man the earth has ever seen, but all his values died with him, to bad, his family should be ashamed, Walmart could have continued to be even greater for America as he had always planed for it to be!

First of all I paid like 50.00 for three bags of candy! Stupid I know…but I've always made my Christmas peanut butter blossoms with Stars instead of kisses…guess that tradition is over. These came very old…they crunched…yuc…had a white coating kind of dust all over them…as I give so many cookies away I simply could not use these. Was a total waste of 50 some bucks!

The stars were so old, discolored and hard with little taste of chocolate. Had to throw out and not use. In my research Brach's stopped making them in 2021 so must be 5 years old or fakes. Either way really not worth the inflated price.
