Brach's Peppermint Candy - 7 oz.

I can tell you that the candy was very fresh, which is what I was wanting. However, the price of $9.95 for 40 pieces of candy is what you might expect to pay at a per piece candy counter. What caused me to order it? The last two years I purchased the plastic buckets of candy and they were stale.l I figure that they are sitting out in those train car containers in the heat continuously heating and cooling by the weather. So, only true complaint is the price that I was pay. Had I paid closer attention I would have never ordered it. I take chemotherapy with loads of steroids twice a week. So, I will take the blame for my action. As a nice much appreciated gesture Walmart allowed me to keep the 40 pieces of candy and immediately refunded my money to my account.

The candy is great. But 40 pieces for $9.00 is outrageous. I thought I was ordering the container with 500 pieces. that is usually $8.62. The picture only shows the emblem on the bag, not the whole bag. I think it was a cheap marketing scam. If you can ship a 40-piece bag, why can't you ship a 500-piece bag? Very disappointed.

First of all, I thought the package was for 100 pieces of candy not 40. I would never pay that much when I can get for the same price 100. What a rip off.
