Excellent. Holds my 7" GPS without it moving. Nest solution I have seen to get my GPS off of the windshield. I would highly recommend this to anyone.

So far the base stays in place on the dash.

I'm using this to hold my TomTom GPS. It just kind of sits in the little beanbag pool and stays mostly put. The anti-skid isn't 100%, but that might be my car. I looked for this forever after buying one in a truck stop ages ago, so I'm happy to have it!

I like my Tom Tom up on the dash where it is in my line of view. Helps me keep my eyes on the road.In order to use the GPS that is built into the dash, I have to take my eyes off the road.The surface of the bean bag could either be heavier or and/or have surface that clings better to the dash.Mettr than than the one that I had.

A friend had a similar product and it seemed to work well. That encouraged me to buy one. There was no place to mount a GPS with a dash cover on the dash, so this was the perfect solution. I've used it several times and really like being able to put it anywhere on the dash and then take the whole thing off and hide it when the car is parked. When I first tried using it, the GPS came off the holder a couple of times. Then I put water on both surfaces and from then on I've had no problems with the GPS sticking to the base.

A great way to get around leaving evidence of a GPS in your vehicle showing. No "telltale" ring left on the windshield by the suction cup mount that tells thieves thereMay be something of value inside.In my pickup I move the mount,GPS and all off the dash and down onto the transmission hump where a hat tossed over it covers everything, or the GPS goes in a carry case to go with me and the Bracketron goes on the floor under the seat.I try to leave no sign visible thereMay be something of value left in the vehicle, plus the convenience of quick move from vehicle to vehicle makes this item a very good value for the low price on it.

The "non-skid" side of the mount pad skids a little too easily. I drive an old four banger with nearly 150,000 miles on it, and the pad slipped right off the dashboard. It landed on the floor upside down, and the weight of the pad broke the mounting bracket that's molded into the housing of the camera. I cannot recommend this product for use in a moving vehicle.
