This is a great waterproof, shockproof, steel toe boot that lasts a long time and can put in hours of daily work. One suggestion would be to buy a cushion pad for the boot. The cushion in my boot began to wear out after about 3 years. My first pair is 5 years old and going strong. I bought a second pair out of fear that Walmart would stop carrying them. I wore this boot in the middle of a downpour while I was moving junk out of a garage and loading up a dumpster and they kept my feet dry for the 12 hours straight that I was working.
The item had different inserts so someone swapped them out for used inserts, and I didn't recognize this till later after I had warn them and got them dirty so I ended up buying a second pair. Pickers need to be aware of this particular problem I'll be more attentive when I buy more shoes, these shoes are absolutely fantastic the delivery service was fine too.
I'm a cryogenics tanker operator. Required to wear steel toe boots for safety meeting typical safety rating, however we have further safety needs. Materials must be real leather, no paneling of mesh or woven materials on externals on boot, many special needs go into workers that are handling cryogenic liquids. These boots are amazing. I've bought several because they are that good. I drive the tanker so they need to be comfortable and responsive to the pedals in a large tanker truck. They have an insert that can very easily be taken out and newer more special inserts can be added for comfort. I like I can change those out every couple months to keep them fresh and super comfortable. These are warm and the first boots I've ever worn that are good with keeping water out. I walk in slush from time to time. I'm also required to wear non sparking boot cleats that slip on when working in frozen conditions like liquid oxygen that can flash freeze that ground over to ice. These boots have stood on flash frozen ground, cryogenic liquids at -300 degrees, and I've pulled my boots up out of this freeze and no issues. Many boots are very well “connected” and separate over time doing this, these have been great. My working brothers and sisters are wearing work boots at almost $300 and I'm in comfortable yet super strong Brahma boots at equally performing safety and comfort in a cost that's a fraction on that. Because of the money I'm saving I can afford multiple sets. Yes my company pays for my boots, however, would you want your company to supply you with one pair that you cover the extra over their threshold, or have your company pay for a pair of great boots entirely and still have enough boot credit to have them buy several more sets? For those of you knowledgeable in how this works, you'll understand. Walmart/Brahma has many boots in different quality, some can do what I need and some are designed to do the easier stuff, these are die hard and do some serious work. I hope this model stays a long time to come. Hope you enjoyed the read
This is my summary.: The leather is thin and the wrap around collar is suedo leather so long term durability is a question. It does look well constructed and I have wide feet in a 12 but wide was not available so I ordered a13. It fits a little loose as expected but acceptable and with thick socks is perfect. I replaced the laces with paracord which will easily out last the boots. For the money a good buy if you are not expecting $200 quality and good for around the house minor construction. Time will tell about the wear factor.
I bought these for my son who was helping build houses in Mexico for a mission trip. He said they were perfect. Comfortable enough to be in all day and they protected his feet. Would highly recommend.
This is my second pair, they are so comfortable right out the box. I'll weed eat with them for hours on end, walk with them endlessly and forget I'm wearing them. Steel toe and waterproof. What's not to love!!!
The product itself is great. The shipment was a bit of an issue. They forgot to remove the security clip before shipping and they couldn't be returned to a local store for exchange. I bought these as a gift for my son so it was not a pleasant experience getting the problem resolved. A resourceful employee was able to assist but this is not common at the return desk of Walmart. Buyer beware.
There nice pair of work boots. they feel bigger than my actual shoe size lol. probably because of it being steel shoe. They back of my heel is hurting me while I'm wearing it. Overall a good boots.
I wear a size 13. And yet, this is the SECOND time in a row that Walmart has sent me the Wrong Size, as in a 10 1/2. Usually Walmart is very on-point. Come on Walmart - you're better than this.
I bought it and didn't receive it! So there's no way to say if it's good. I needed the product urgently, I bought it and paid a $5 fee to receive it in 3 hours. In short: I didn't receive the product. I paid the fee and the value of the product was withheld. When I contacted them via chat, I only received information that they couldn't do anything and I had to resolve it with the bank. I felt cheated because I paid the fee to deliver it and in the end, they didn't even have the product.
