"These" boots are better made than most inexpensive boots. They are high top; they have stitched welt(not bonded welt); and they have steel toes. They also have "low" walking type heels (not tall "logger" heels). They are reasonably durable and comfortable, and with hard use (daily use), they should last about one year. Thereafter the toes wear out; the edge of the sole wears off to the welt stitching(toe); and the seams start coming loose. More expensive boots last longer, but they also wear out, so does one pay more for one pair, or does one pay the same amount for three or four pairs of these? Each person is welcome to their opinion and choice.
These are the only boots my husband wants to wear for work. He picks these over high dollar work boot every time time Our local walmart doesn’t not carry them. I cannot find them in our state stores. I’m forced to buy online or ebay. Wish they were a option in the stores also.
These steel-toe boots have been excellent for me. They fit perfectly right out of the box and are surprisingly comfortable for all-day wear. I work in a factory environment where my boots take a serious beating, yet these consistently last me 2-3 years with regular heavy use. At this price point, it’s easy to just grab another pair when needed. I’ve tried more expensive brands that claim superior quality, but none have matched the comfort and reliability of these. I’ve been wearing this exact model for several years now and keep coming back to them. Highly recommend for anyone needing durable, affordable work boots!
best boots I have bought, in the past year I bought 5 different pairs and none lasted longer than month with my sons heavy water exposure. these have lasted over six months so far.
I've owned these before and they are absolutely the best boots that you can own regardless of the price. you can pay more elsewhere but you're not going to get anymore then you get with these boots !
the tops of the shoes began separating from The souls after only a couple of months and this was the replacement pair because the first pair did the exact same thing!
I purchased these after owning another pair for 5 years and still have them. The first pair has worn through at the toe to the metal and the soles have a little wear but after 5 years of heavy construction site use they were impressive for the price. This pair is astonishingly poor. I recommended these boots in my safety classes due to the ANSI rating and price. After only six months these soles are having drop- out in the rubber/plastic sole. Chunks are falling out. These boots have been used daily at construction sites under the same conditions and I can no longer recommend them and don't know how they got the ANSI rating. With the sole disntegrating they would provide little safety for sharp items or large gravel. The boots are comfortable and the lining is comfortable but comfort and safety should be expected.
I give these zero stars!! I buy these every year for my son for Christmas. They usually last about 6- 8 months before falling apart. I ordered them this year-TWICE and both pair arrived dry rotted and stinky. The black material was all over the inside of the box and paper that was inside the box. The first pair came from WM warehouse and the second pair came from the store. Both in the same nasty condition.
This whole transaction was a miserable experience. I ordered a different pair of of boots, for Christmas waited on delivery- , they never came. Customer service lied blatantly about it and suggested to wait another day. The next day when they were not delivered, I contacted customer service again and was told they were out of stock and had brevet been shipped. I asked for help and all I got was the promise of a refund within 8-10 days. I had to settle for these boots Just to get something under the tree
nice for the price. steel in toe cuts into toes a little. but I have bad feet and good fitting and comfortable boots are hard for me to find so.. I consider that as well.
