For the price, its a great item. Is it as fancy and a $300 skateboard?...No, it is not but, for a $40 skateboard, this is a great item.
The best skateboard beginners can enjoy the new sport.
Good quality for a beginner skater.
bought a couple of theese as Christmas gifts. definitely the best bang for the buck if your starting out and not sure if you want to spend the 100 dollars for a pro setup. my only worry is if you are going to be riding on rougher surfaces, the wheels are really small.
You can really see Braille is trying to help people get into the sport with an ACTUAL board that's easily available. This board is either to start or get back into skateboarding without spending $150 on a complete setup. definitely use this for the basics/advanced skating then go onto your upgrades.
This board is way better than the last one I bought for my kid online. That one had plastic trucks that bent in less than a month! These trucks are actually metal and the wheels are not all squishy. My daughter loved the flower design and she was able to push around and even try an Ollie, where her last board the wheels would just stop rolling once you put all your weight on the board. For sure worth the extra $20 since the last one basically was a waste of money.
my husband and i started skating again in our 40's lol. he got this board for me to. learn with from him. he skated back in the day and he highly recommends this board for beginners. He has an expensive pro set up but i didn't see spending the money so he researched and recommends this one. Its perfect for me.
Was watching the Braille skateboarding YouTube channel and found out they had an affordable board. Bought my son one for Christmas for $30. Then the blue one was on sale for $17. Bought two of those. Welp. The board is probably the best you can buy for a Walmart board. It's legit. The wheels roll well. The trucks seem solid. I know that eventually at least the trucks and bearing need to be changed out to be perfectly fine. This is a good solid board for a beginning skater or a random 40ish year old dad like me who wants to kind of learn again. 4.5 to 5 stars. The cheapest most affordable legit board you can use. Braile is a solid brand.
Pretty good choice for beginners! The skateboard arrived with a few minor scratches and imperfections which were not too aesthetically pleasing, which is why I deducted a star. I definitely feel as if this skateboard could use a bit more protection for shipping. Other from this, this skateboard is fantastic and has allowed me to get into skating a bit.
Just got my board today and I love it, as someone who has never felt comfortable on a board, I highly recommend you try this one to start out. Biggest thing I can say is get a skate tool, and loosen the trucks about .75 turns and it will help immensely. I'll probably swap out the bushings eventually, but it's a perfect first board in my opinion
