Brainerd #69277 Brass Double Prong Robe Hook

Bright brass finish suits my bathroom décor. Comes with two Phillips screws. A tap with a hammer for a small hole to get them started was all it took to get the threads to bite in and screw it down flush. Secured snugly in a core door holding a floor length bathrobe.

I bought four different stlye hooks in my order and this hook was a great value and just the right size. The other styles I purchased, even though I checked the dimensions, were much larger than I expected. I am using three of these on the inside of my closet door for belts, Ts, etc.

Hoks work well; I'd think they would be standard in store stock.

I bought two of these for my bathroom for towels since my restroom is small and I used regular nails to put them up instead of the screws that came with it and works perfectly.

When I viewed the information on these, it stated a measurement of 5 inches. These are much much smaller than that. I see the measurements have been edited since I ordered. It says they hold 35 pounds and that they are robe hooks. If you have those big furry fluffy robes, I think it would be awkward or not even fit on these hooks. I ordered two in the black and they are ok but they are not at al what I thought I was getting due to the dramatic size difference. In my opinion the 'double' hook is useless for a robe unless you are placing two thin robes on each side hook. I am not sure what these are good for. Maybe a cap or an empty handbag. As far as closets go and robe hooks, I wouldn't suggest these for that.
