Brasso, fun and effective for shining chrome and b
Back in the day we used Brasso to keep the chrome ( including spokes) on our motorcycles nice and shiny. Well I'm a little old lady now, but I still like the metal fittings at my house to be nice and shiny, and I recalled my great success with Brasso. So here we are, shining up all the chrome, brass, aluminum, anything metal that needs to sparkle. It will clean your candelabras as well. Now the bottles are plastic. Back in the day they were metal. But I think the plastic bottles are better for storage. Brasso shines up your chrome, brass, aluminum, … it's easy to polish the chrome and brass. The aluminum takes more time, and the tarnish comes off as black, but it shines up nice. You might want to wear waterproof gloves, unless you like your hands to look like they did some heavy duty work. Sometimes I enjoy a little “ shock value.”

Ask a Marine!
ask any marine about polishing brass and they will tell you stories, Brasso would have made it easier according to my Marine husband.
