Braun Epilator Silk-epil 99-579 Wet Dry Cordless with 7 Extras

This is my first epilator and I was hesitant to spend so much, but seeing the results made me not regret my decision! The pain is a mild pinching, but nothing unbearable, especially if you have waxed. It removed even the tiniest hairs which was the most impressive. Used it on legs and underarms with no problem. The light is super helpful, as well as the 40% larger head...can't say enough good things about this! Love it.

Bought this for my wife and she says it was a great buy. it does do what it says. I bought the bonus edition and she really liked the extra items that come with it. She agrees with some of the other reviews that say it does hurt a little, but is not painful. She is so happy ith this product, she wants to buy some as gifts to other family members and friends...one thing to recommend, but to buy them I would say is proof of a satisfied customer.

I purchased this epilator because of the reviews. I have been waxing for a while now and just found it didn't get those fine hairs and waxing was difficult when trying to reach the backs of legs and it was messy! I can easily reach those difficult areas with the epilator and can use it without waiting for the hair to get long. Yes, it definitely does sting while pulling out the hair, but if you've ever waxed before, it's really not that bad. It took a total of 15 minutes to do legs and under arms and the stinging subsides very quickly. I do not have thick, coarse hair and it is also light colored (I do believe waxing has contributed to helping the hair become even less). I used the epilator and after 3 weeks there were areas I could feel slight stubble. Am waiting for the hair to get a little longer this time before my second go round as I think it will work even better. I think the first time the hair wasn't quite long enough but I just couldn't wait to try it out! So far, so good even though I haven't used it more than once.

I wish I would have purchased this product a long time ago! Way better than waxing and there's no mess!!! I highly recommend it to everyone with unwanted hair!!!

Works very well! Slightly painful in the beginning but you get used to the pain. The trimmer and epilator together works great! Absolutely recommend this product for people who don't have time to get waxing done!

THIS EPILATOR WORKS GREAT, IT IS PAINFUL IN SOME AREAS AT THE BEGINING, BUT YOU GET USED TO IT, I LOVE IT, I'LL BUY ONE MORE FOR MY DAUGTHER. THE EPILATION IS BETTER THAN BEING SHAVING OR WAXING FOR ME AND THIS EPILATOR IS JUST PERFECT, I HAVE A FEW MONTHS WITH IT AND I ONLY NEED TO USE IT EVERY 3 OR 4 WEEKS. I TOTALLY RECOMMEND IT.

This is an amazing epilator, it pulls every hair even the finest hairs. I have used it both wet and dry and it has not disappointed me yet!

I have used epilators on my legs and underarms for years. This one got great reviews and so when my last one died, I thought I'd upgrade. It's great because it's cordless and has a light. However, it is average in it's performance. My previous epilator, the Emjoi Emagine performed much better, getting more hair in one pass and getting a smoother result. Unfortunately the Emjoi's cord is a little short and there is no light on the product, so I chose this one. Not happy with the performance. wish I had re-order my previous brand. Also, I don't need all the extra stuff they provided with this product which drives the price up.

This is the exact same thing as the Epil 7.. just with "better" accessories. They both have the same amount of tweezers and motor. Their marketing department just reworded the motor power but they mean the same thing. Save yourself some money and buy the Epil 7.

Painful epilator and very under powered. I have one I bought at walmart years ago for only $20 and it still works tons better than the more expensive ones I've tried. I actually bought mine in in 2020, now 8/2021 and I have not touched it since the first time I tried it. It's just sittin in my closet. Doing nothing.
