Braun Forehead Thermometer, BFH125US

Easy and accurate!

Off by two degrees. Tried it on several family members and was unable to get an accurate reading. Instructions specify that you should wait for the long "beep" - beep so low in volume it could not be heard. Was told by Braun customer service that there was no way to either calibrate or increase volume without sending it to the service center; returned to store and bought a different model.

this thermometer is useless. I thought it would be the best option as it was the most expensive, but its horribly inaccurate. don't waste your money.

My son has had a fever for 2 days. The kids ran off with my last thermometer. Thought I was going to do better getting the most expensive one there. Got home it said my sons temp was 96.2. Um i know he has a fever so that is wrong. I test it on myself, my sister, my daughter and niece. they all said 101.2. None of us are sick. So i had to have everyone hold down my son so i could take his temp under his arm. It said 102.6 Huge difference from 96.2. So a few hours later i take his temp with this one. It said 103.5. This morning again it said his temp was 96 when under arm said 102. This is going back because I can do a better job and guessing what his temp is than this hunk of junk.

Don't waste your money. The thermometer never gives an accurate temperature. You can see and feel the kids burning up but the thermometer will never show a temperature over 97 degrees.

I first purchased the Braun ear thermometer (IRT6500) with high expectations based on the brand and cost, however, the readings were all over the place and completely unreliable. I returned that model and purchased this forehead thermometer (BFH125). Attempted readings on each person in our household with the exact same outcome as the previous model: temps of anywhere between 98 and 102, and never able to get the same temp twice on any of us. I wish I would have read the many reviews for this product before purchasing, as the majority of others have had the same issues. Returning this product immediately.

My daughter is sick and I can tell from ber warm forehead and flush cheeks she clearly has a fever. But i took her temperture and it said 98° - thought maybe I moved before the long beep. So as she is asleep ans not moving - I held it in place and took it 5 times same spot on the center of hed forehead. And I got FIVE DIFFERENT TEMPERATURES! Ranging from 98° to 102° !! That’s a big difference for anyone let alone an infant!! Dont waste your money. This product is absolute garbage! I wish I would have read reviews before purchasing it.

Always gives a different reading. Doesnt seem accurate at all. Always gives temperatures in the 97 range.

I thought I really wanted this as our toddler cries eveytime I take her temperature under her arm. However, the temperature was always way off compared to our regular thermometers. We are planning on returning it.

Twice my son has had a febral siezure due to inaccurate readings. We change the batteries and it still was giving inaccurate readings. I am warming families to not purchase this thermometer for the safety of their children!
