Replaced a similar model that was 20 years old, the new version is vastly improved (or maybe my old one was just that far gone). Gives a close shave and has tons of battery life, I also like that it's powered by AA's instead of being rechargeable, as I don't have to carry around an extra charger while traveling. Compact and lightweight!
The Braun was just what I was hoping for...handy, easy to use and maintain and did an excellent job. Would definitely buy another if needed...the price was great considering I've seen other razor at that price that were awful. If you purchase this Braun you will be pleasantly surprised and glad you did. Great little razor!
I decided to try this shaver after reading the reviews and was really impressed by its performance. Although battery powered and small enough to put in your pocket this shaver gets the job done. Gets me a close shave that is very smooth...I do have to pass back and forth a few times but it really does a clean job. It also is waterproof and can be used in the shower and tub if you're the type who likes to shave while bathing. Comes with a small detachable brush for hair removal. I love the protective switch to prevent from accidental turn ons and running down your batteries if you are traveling with it. This would be great for your glove compartment in the car or even the console for a quick touch up. This razor packs a punch...you won't be disappointed.
best travel razor I every owned and I have owned a lot of them. There is no sideburn cutter but who needs that a safety razor dose that. I highly recommend this. I owned one for 5 yrs and the foil gave out cutter was still good. I couldn't find the foil so I bought 2 more M60s just in case.
I bought 3 previous electric shavers including the Braun 330 for around $80. None of them gave me a close shave. Had a lot of stubble and ended using a razor for a clean shave. This inexpensive battery powered shaver does a better job than the other 3 more expensive shavers. Close shave. Easy to clean. And super cheap. I would definitely recommend this shaver and will buy several more for gifts.
Had one for years and rather than order new head got a completely new one for just a little more. works great.
Strangely enough, these electric razors by Braun have given me the best shave of anything I've tried — including $100 razors. It's really hard for me to get a good shave, so I appreciate anything that makes it any better. They do seem to be not quite as good as they used to be some 5 years ago and absolutely beware of third party blade/foil replacements as some are terrible, but overall still a great choice. The price seems a tad excessive for a small battery-powered razor that doesn't even have charging, but it's still the best choice despite that right now. The high water resistance is also a good plus.
I bought my first little Braun shaver while traveling in Hong Kong several years ago. It was inexpensive, yet surprisingly effective. Thereafter it became my one and only shaver, has lasted for years, and always delivered a close shave. It is small, convenient, and with rechargeable batteries, lasts forever. The big, expensive models need not apply.
Did not come with Duracell batteries like ones I bought in past. Box was a little cheaper than the past, but product arrived in good condition. For less than $20, it is worth it. I'd recommend using it on a smaller beard growth. A 2 or 3 day growth might take a while. Small and handy
Braun has changed the razor/cutter piece and the new design makes it pull on stubble sometimes, resulting in a painful little pull instead of cutting. The old design was much better but the razor still was only good on 5-o'clock shadow length stubble. Now it's not worth buying at all.
