Braun Precision Trimmer PT5010 Men's Precision Beard, Mustache detailer

The to parts of the product would not stay assembled during use. The bottom half battery cover could not stay secured with the top part. There were no attachments suitable for my beard and mustache. There too few attachments. The product was not worth the price.

I have a full beard that I keep well maintained. I received this Braun Precision Trimmer PT5010 for free from Braun to test out. Some of the typical complaints of battery powered trimmers is that performance is only as good as the health of the batteries. Even with a fresh set of AAAs this trimmer lacks the ability to trim even just one day stubble. I have resorted to throwing my trusty 2 blade disposable back into my travel bag and this trimmer into the drawer. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Painful. Literally rips ypur beard out of your face. Does not cut, it pulls. I tried multiple angles etc. No better . I will be returning this.

Three seconds after flipping the on switch, the trimmer stopped working. The vibrations unseated the battery from its flimsy housing. I fiddled with the battery and got it to function, once again. Thoroughly unimpressed by the cacophonous buzzing, I put the trimmer to the test. It failed miserably. It barely cut facial hair, maybe a single hair or two as it wrenched and pulled all the other hairs along the way. It did only slightly better with fine body hair but still pulled painfully. This contraption is a piece of garbage.

This trimmer never cuts through the hairs; it grabs them and pulls (very painful!). I spent 50 minutes trying different techniques to get it to trim but to no avail. It will not trim my facial hair at all, not a single strand. The blades appear to stop oscillating when they make contact with hair. Incredibly frustrating device.

I only used it twice and it died on me. I changed the battery, nothing happened.

It quit on me the second time I used it. The motor still runs but the blade doesn't move. It's so fragile. I read reviews before buying and thought it couldn't be that bad. Now I know it's really that bad.
