This is so quick and easy, and I don't have to make sure my kids put it under their tongue and close their mouth. It is super quick and it isn't hard to figure out at all. You just turn it on, set the age group, and then press the thermometer button. You'll know it is reading the temperature because a little light comes on. It definitely beats the old-fashioned thermometers.
