Braun Series 5 53B Electric Shaver Head, Black - Designed for Series 5 and Series 6 shavers (new generation)

It hard to get close to 18 months use.

I wanted to get as much life as possible out of my shaver. After 20 months it really wasn't getting much of a shave at that point. The new foil was a day and night difference. Highly recommended but don't wait as long as I did

Easy to place order. Order arrived on time. This blade is replacement does not appear to be as close as the blade that came with razor.

Although the replacement blade was authentic Braun, it is not nearly as sharp as the original.

Like most people today, I shop for the best bargains. In need of a replacement foil, I found a brand on one of the other big web sites for less than $15.00. I ordered two. I changed the foil that came with the razor, which featured a good deal of metal to drive the cutting blades, at Brauns recommended 18 months. The $15.00 foil, which featured plastic to drive the blades, lasted 4 months before shredding my cheek. I assumed your $28.00 foil with the Braun name on the package would be a direct replacement for the original. So, I was surprised when I found it to be the same product as the $15.00 brand. They say you get what you pay for, but I spent twice as much for what I thought would be quality and got the same junk

It didn't shave nearly as close as the original blade. The screen looks much thicker than the original. I contacted Braun and they said they will send me an original version at no charge. The box was labeled "Braun". Could this be an after-market part?

Horrible, bought 2. First one would not attach to the razor. After some manipulation final got it attached to the razor. Tried both blades, a both blades pulled my hair, and does not cut. Takes over 30 minutes to get a painful rough shave. Very disappointed.

Awful replacement Shaver Head and Barely does any shaving at all, and pinches the skin, I tried for three Days thinking maybe it would get better and it got worse tried putting it on the shaver a differant way made no differance went back to the origanal one it came with much better this new one is unusable money down the drain it was suppose to be a new one feels like maybe it was a refurbished one

I have use Braun razors for about 30 years. I have always been able to purchase replacement heads. Now that I have the latest and greatest model, and need a replacement head, there are none on the planet. Is this environmentally responsible to make a product that fails in 12-18 months and not offer to repair it? Hope that Ford and Chevrolet don't hear about this.

The shavi g Shaving head pulled some hairs and caused pain while shaving. I will be returning it for a refund.
