Braun TriControl 4775 - Shaver - cordless - silver/black

I usually do not write these but after an extensive search for the perfect shaver, I had to come here and write about this shaver. I previously used Remington foil shavers and mine broke. So for my birthday, my parents bought me a very expensive Norelco rotary shaver. I thought I would give it a try. Rotary shavers never cut my coarse facial hair (even my 5 oclock shadow length) but since this one was so expensive, I thought it should do the trick. WRONG. Nothing but pulling and pain. I got my money for it and went with this shaver and I could not be happier. I tried it out, straight out of the box, and I could not believe the comfort of this shaver. It says give your face 3 weeks to adjust but I def do not need 3 weeks. My face actually felt so smooth and soft after the very first shave. And more importantly, NO PULLING AT ALL. This is by far the most comfortable shave I have ever had and for half the price of the Norelco! Braun has a new customer for life.

I gave this shaver to my hubby for Christmas and he says it works great. According to him, he loves it. And you certainly can't beat the price for a Braun.

I purchased this shaver for my husband (who is very picky about electric shavers). He liked the streamlined shape and the expensive look of the shaver as soon as he opened the package! He could not believe what a great price I paid for a Braun shaver. When he tried out the Braun he was more then pleased. It gives a nice smooth shave whithout having to go over and over the same spot. I too love this shaver....I tried it on my legs and got a smooth shave very quickly without any irritation at all. I would definately recommend this product to anyone who wants the quality of a Braun at the price of most cheaper brands! I would not hesitate to buy it again as a gift for anyone (even a lady)!

This was a gift to my husband for his birthday. He had purchased a cheaper razor through a TV ad. Was very unsatisfied, so I shopped on the internet. After reading about the features and some reviews I decided to purchase it. My husband is very satisfied with how close a shave he gets and how well it works. Braun has always had a good reputation and it still does.

This product is outstanding. For the price (which isn't cheap, but not $100 either) this shaver is INCREDIBLE!!! Never having owned a Braun before (my previous was a Remington) I was curious to see if their products were as good as their reputation. I was plesantly surprised, this product is quiet, efficient and a much closer shave than any shaver I've used. A great investment in something you'll use every day.

My first thought on arrival of the product was that it was a very attractive shaver. The product was purchased for a man who has workers that help him with his shaving. He also participates by shaving what he can. His workers report that it is a good product and especially like being able to clean it with running water and how it shaves hairs that may be going in different directions. He likes it because he gets a good shave.

The product really works well for me. This is my first electric shaver.... so I don't have much to compare it to but I love it! The shave is very close and smooth~ The one problem I have with the product is the "trimmer". The trimmer is set up oddly.... so you can't really trim with it.... just cut. I don't mind because I have a trimming tool already. Eitherway the shave itself is nice and that is what counts!

I was looking for a replacement head for my old norelco and found out that is more convenient buying a new one and gave this one a shot, but: Cons: - My shaving beard is not of the worst, my 3 years old Philips Norelco does a better job; - Too noisy; - Irritant; - Too expensive. Pros: Very good battery life.

I was/am not too pleased with the TR1. I was intially very excited to get the shaver, having read all the positive reviews about it, and, considering it's a Braun product, a very good buy for the money. Well, having used it for three weeks I don't like the razor. For me, it doesn't shave very close, almost to the point that it feels like I haven't shaved at all, and my beard is not what you would call "heavy", quite the opposite actually. I have to go over and over my face several times just to achieve what I consider to be a merely adequate shave. I intend to return the shaver to Walmart.

I was expecting a closer shave, and didn't enjoy having to run the shaver over the skin 6 times even when I pull it tight. I also had to work very hard at shaving wiskers on my neck. If you only need an average shave for a good price then this shaver should be adequate, but I'm returning it and will try a high-end Panasonic.
