I used this inverter to power up my HP laptop with 15" screen (with a dead battery) for 4-5 hours daily for 4 days in a row. It worked flawlessly. It heats up moderately during use always within safe limits and can be touched. The red indicator light tells that its connected and powered up. It has a replaceable fuse conveniently located. Its a very good design and great travel accessory for providing upto 80w of 120v.
Vetch never has their car charger in stock nth is with house charger works great. Now I don't need to buy both chargers for all the varies devices in the house. This allows all house chargers to work in the car.
i use it for my breast pump and it works as good as if I would have it plugged into a home electrical outlet
I found this online after looking in the store. It was less than half the price and has served it's purpose.
I bought this to recharge my cell phone in the car. For some reason my Motorola cell phone does not recharge with regular car adapters. I had bought another inverter but it was too noisy and bulky. This is the perfect size.
A bit bulky for the location but it works flawlessly -very satisfied.
so far its working good, but it does get pretty hot after using it for an hour or so.
Small and compact inverter, perfect for my application.
Bought it to string Christmas lights in family van. Worked well. Priced power inverters from chain auto parts stores but wasn't willing to drop $25 just to sting up $2 lights. How the outlet part is designed may not fit in all cigarette lighter locations but did fit into accessory outlet in back of van. To design it any better it would have an on/off switch. Plan to use it for DVD players and iPods. Small enough to store in glove box when not in use.
My 11 year old son was able to plug in the laptop and watch movies on a cross country roadtrip for several hours straight. The only problem was the inverter getting hot. He unplugged it for a while and then plugged it back in when it cooled. It worked well for what it was bought for.
