Utilitarian, but it has a very interesting shape, texture, and color. Ironwood has a reputation for being a very hard wood, so its look should hold up overtime. The heft is good without being heavy, it has good balance and is easy to use. I look forward to using it, hiking trails and the pedestrian path here in town.

I ordered this walking stick for my husband so that he may use it around the neighborhood during his walks. I was pleasantly surprised with how sturdy and beautifully finished the walking stick is. He hesitated ordering one, but was very pleased when I surprised him with it. Super pleased!!!

This walking stick is just as the company describes. Solid and well made. I am short(under 5 ft) and I was worried about the length but no need, it's perfect Better than a cane because you aren't bent over anywhere and you can remain upright. Great buy.
