Wonderful hand made hickory walking stick. Had a tag telling what craftsman made it. I am using it now for a help recovering from a medical procedure... It's really beautiful and I hope to use it for hiking later. Fast shipping, well packaged, and I was informed of it's progress the whole way.
Tshis 58" walking works very well for me will I am walking. Because I am tall , 6"2", it offers great support for my upper body. It looks great . I have received many compliments too.
Excellent product. Folks stop me all the time to know more about it!
I gave this to my wife for Christmas. She has been using to walk in the neighborhood since she unwrapped it. It was just what she wanted and is very pleased.
It was suggested that I look into purchasing a walking stick to help mewalk in an upright position due to my back pain. The cane doesn't help but the walking stick does.
Good looking stick. Straight enough for twirling (looks like the picture). Strong enough for defense and for the unanticipated. It came with an embedded with "Brazos Walking Sticks
Highly durable structurally and has protective finish that's helpful when walking in snow and rain. Brazos makes a good product, just be mindful of thickness of the cane or stick you choose. This stick is a "handful" diameter-wise compared to my previous Brazos walker.
Heavy, solid stick, shape is about as crooked has a dog's hind leg (but that doesn't affect the way it works). My son is not used to a stick that heavy, so his shoulder hurts when using it much
I like the hickory wood. It is nicely made and finished but I wish it was a few inches longer. The shipping tube is poor. The end of the tube was covered with thin paper (bad choice). This is why I scored a 4.
THIS walking stick looks like an 8th grader in junior high wood shop made it. It's rough, dark, knots barely show, it's thin (must have been from a small thin limb) and not sturdy. I have another of this same stick, Hickory, which is just the opposite. I bought an Ironwood version which is supposed to look and feel rough and it's smoother and better looking, more sturdy than this one. DO NOT BUY. in the included pictures the old stick is the light colord one. The dark one is the new pice ofvcrsp 2nd stick they sent.
