I first discovered these when I was looking for a way to keep my son's shoes from coming untied. He has special needs and can't tie is shoes due to physical limitations. We wanted to buy “cool” shoes, not just the ones with Velcro. These did the trick. I bought the latest pair of laces for myself. I have a wonderful pair of sneakers that are so comfy. With these new laces, they're perfect.
