Breakthrough Clean Technologies® Foam Tip Swabs, 24-Pack

I really appreciate the resealable bag these come in. You buy normal swabs and you get hundreds of them and they end up everywhere, but these are very manageable to deal with, and reusable. I could have maybe wanted a little more foam on the tips, but there's enough here that it's easy to press against a ridge to really push into cracks and seams for some deeper cleaning.

I use these based on YouTube video instructions on cleaning a VCR head and it was just as described and I kept the rest very easy to use and very simple.

I like this product, would recommend. Good quality foam. Good absorbency.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When used in conjunction with other Breakthrough products, these swabs provide impressive cleaning capabilities. I use these swabs to apply the cleaning solvent to hard to reach places, like hinges and slots and places where I do not want to clean (if im doing a quick break down). Then, I'll use another swab to apply the high purity oil, which helps maintain metal on metal friction, which allows my pew tools to last longer, provide better pew results, and enables a smoother action when fired. I'll clean my AR first, as that likes to be cleaner and runs smoother when it's cleaned first, then I'll move on to my glock style pistol, which can run a bit dirtier. This way, I can extend the uses of the swabs, while doing my due diligence in cleaning my pew tools!

You get a fair amount of swabs for the price, and the packaging is environmentally friendly in that they don't over do packaging.
