Saftey! Child something pretty or cute to look at, can still breathe if face up against it and can't put arms through rails of cribs. I have one for my grandson and granddaughter.

Bumper Crib Pad
I purchased the breathable mesh crib liner hoping it would help my granddaughter sleep better in crib. It did prevent her arms, legs from going between slats of crib and protected her head from bumping on slats, yet allowed air to flow. She did sleep so much better than previous visits.

Horrible product
Does not stay on crib properly. Just slides down with a simple touch or even if my daughter hits it. I do not recommend it to anyone!
