The tortillas stick to metal. And cannot clean unless you damage the coating. Even my in-laws from Mexico couldn't understand why it was made like this. Very disappointing

it sounded like the perfect tortilla warmer for a great price well I'm returning mine cuz the the part of the tortillas that did stick I couldn't even wash it off they burnt on to it. Did I do something wrong.?
