I live at a bit of a high altitude, 3,400 ft., just enough to mess with cooking due to lower boiling temp. I have had problems slow cooking in the past where the cooker would boil furiously, even on the low setting. This slow cooker doesn't do that, even on high. I bought it because it was recommended by Serious Eats and they were right. It's a very nice slow cooker, does its job well and looks nice while doing it. It takes up little space and even though it's small, it makes a good amount of food for 1 or 2 people. I also like trying out new chili, soup and stew recipes in this small cooker before making a large amount in a bigger cooker.

I love the smaller size. I live alone so it is the perfect size for me. I love the fact that the pot is removable for cleaning.

I have a very large slow cooker, but I needed a small one where I could just prepare something for myself. This is a great little slow cooker. Small, easy to use, easy to store, and it cooks like a dream. I especially like it because it stores easily in any kitchen cabinet without taking a whole lot of room. Even if you have a large slow cooker, Having one of these gives you extra flexibility for cooking very small meals. And the price is right, too!

Oh my! I needed a small crockpot for a Sunday event because my daughter had borrowed mineI ordered it on Tuesday, it came on Saturday and was the perfect size. A on packaging shipping, and the product itself worked flawlessly.

This is a perfect size crock pot for us as a retired couple. It's perfect for the amount of food we want to prepare such as baked potato or hot soups on cold days. It doesn't take much room or juice like the larger crock pots and its perfect for our retired needs.

Perfect size!

It does the job. I like that I can cook just enough for a day or two. It's very lightweight, cleans easily and completely, cooks away quietly and peacefully so dinner's ready when you plan it to be, very easy!

I love my little slow cooker, it is perfect for one person meals.

It was fine what I wanted it for

It is attractive. The lip is too loose and slides all around. For a 1.5 qt (6 cups) slow cooker it actually barely holds 4 cups-because the recommendations are at least 2 inches below the lid for a fill. The actual pot is only 4 inches deep. Meaning short 2 cups for contents. Also recommended not to cook any longer than 6 hours for the contents.
