Brentwood TS-337 Electric Single Plate Burner

Got this to use in my RV while on shore power. It has a 7' burner which works well for medium sized pots and pans. I've used several different sized of pressure cookers and canners ranging from four quart to 23 quart, and held temperature/pressure consistently once I got the feel for it. Works very well for me.

We've used it twice so far. It does exactly what I purchased it for. We want to keep food warm after it is made and the hot plate keeps that food very warm to hot as needed. I think is is a very nice product.

It doesn't get as hot as I'd like. Was able to scramble eggs but cooking pasta took a very long time.

Came in handy as za I am still waiting for my stove repair. Only problem is the groved surface is a problem to clean if anything spills on it.

Says on the website, and the box, thermostat and automatic shutoff. It has a thermostat only. No automatic shutoff. It therefore did not meet the needs of our elderly mother.

I just got it last week and was so excited to use finally. But it make me so disappointed.. It takes forever to get hot. I tried to fried chicken and had it on max heat but the heat was just like at level 2 for the normal. So now I have put it back in the box and waiting to return back at a Walmart store :((( So don't buy..

We purchased 2 of these and both units were severely concaved on one side, therefore did not sit level. We had to return both of them. They also have an ugly "CAUTION: Hot Surface" sticker on top. If the surface gets hot I surely don't want a paper and glue substance not easily removed stuck on there! Overall very disappointed with purchase. It seems they must not have had any quality control to be receiving two units constructed and defective in the same way.
