nice look. The "add a bit more" button works really well and does not over toast to bread item. The variable/infinite slide to set your desired toast also works great to get exactly what you like and is very repeatable. The countdown meter helps you know that the time in the toaster is accurate and its not malfunctioning. So far aso good

It toasts evenly and quickly. I appreciate that it still has buttons to press, and a lever to slide for more or less browning. Consumer Reports really likes it, which is why I decided to buy it.

We've complained about our old toaster for years! It finally died! After reading reviews the Breville One More became our replacement. We couldn't be more pleased! It handles big Brooklyn Bagels with ease and toasts them to perfection! Buy this toaster!

I appreciate that you can set this long- or short-side out. my favorite feature is the button A Bit More. It also includes buttons for Begal, Frozen, and Cancel.

I bought this toaster last week based on it being one recommended by Choice. Choice gave it a high score for evenly toasting the whole slice but it doesn't - the top is toasted more than the bottom so slices need to be turned over half way through. Toasts better on the sides facing the middle, not surprising as look likes a lot of elements on the outside sides aren't heating up nearly as much. Disappointing for a toaster that's not even a week old.

The toaster looks nice, but takes 2 goes to get my bread toasted on the highest setting. It is very slow and doesn't have much heat.

The lift up action is completely unsuitable for my needs. I never buy ordinary supermarket bread which probably would lift up to a location to be gripped with finger and thumb. I cut slices from sourdough loaves and the like and it entails turning off the toaster and inserting tongs or the like to retrieve the toasted slice. Very user unfriendly!

Have been using a for a month now. One of the quests I've forever had in my life has been a toaster thats quick and browns very evenly. 2 things sadly missing from my latest toaster investment. Yes it has some good features like the led progress display, easy duration adjustment and lift to see progress. But if you want a quick toaster or even a medium timed toaster you better look elsewhere. Out of many toasters over the years this disappointingly is by far the slowest. If using this my new routine is press the lever down then go and cook the rest of my breakfast so toast is just popping up at the end.

Purchased the Breville Toaster Model BTA720 just after Christmas 2025. Just six weeks later it will not work. The red lights come on, the toast holder will not stay down. It will not toast. It has only one job to do and can not even manage that. Save your money buy a different brand!!! A total waste of money
