Breville Soft Top Electric Kettle BKE700BSS

We drink a lot of tea and drip coffee in our household. This is our 2nd Breville kettle. I bought a cheaper kettle that had variable temperature choices for different teas, a pretty blue light and clear glass kettle but it dribbled all over when pouring and was cheaply made. We haven't even had it a year and are already replacing it with a new quality Breville kettle which I am certain will last for years as did our last one.

purchased the item for my wife as a gift and she absolutely loves it as she's a big coffee and tea drinker. Heats fast and is very durable so far. Fast delivery too.

I had the previous model for 5 or 6 years and it worked great. It just stopped working recently. It performed so well I bought this unit again. I recommend this kettle.

Kettle worked out great, large capacity, quick to heat. Very happy with it.

I like that it's for both left and right handed users with a sight glass on both sides. It has a good range of levels from a minimum of 2 cups to a maximum of 7 cups. It appears to boil a few seconds too long before the auto shutoff trips and I often turn it off by hand; the water temp at auto shutoff averages around 223F. I noticed that the exterior metal gets hot, approx. 107F, stays hot for a long time though the handle and base stay cool.

Works great, but it keeps squeezing when in use.

This is an identical replacement for my previous kettle. It has a smooth design that boils reasonably quickly and pours easily. My only complaint is that the outside stainless steel surface has smears that I cannot clean properly.

Received the wrong item. Box was for the right item but the box was was damaged. Inside was a different item. That too used and not new. Tried to return it at a local Walmart. They did not accept the return and told me to contact customer service. Called customer service and was bounced to a supervisor who told me that they could not offer a return or replacement and she suggested that I file a dispute with the credit card company

I dont have a problem with the product but , it was open box. Definitely it been sold and returned. Disappointed
