This product is perfect for my needs and at the perfect price point. I have been enjoying my journey of learning latte art with this machine. Steaming milk obviously takes longer with this machine than one that might cost thousands of dollars, but that's actually great for a beginner like me who wants the extra time to get things right. Until I get a separate grinder, pre ground coffee for espresso still gives me cafe results. I found that for me, 11 seconds of infusing air during milk steaming gave me the best results for latte art. The only downside is that my whole family expects me to make them coffees now...
Good for entry level coffee enthusiasts and experts alike. Perfect for home use. Lot of quirky little design features (like the magentic tamper holder, hidden tool box, drain tray 'empty me' pop up etc) are very well thought of and practical. Looks elegant on the countertop.
I have had this machine for a few years and teamed it up with the Breville coffee grinder. I have upgraded to the Barister Express as room became limited in the new kitchen. This machine was far too good to lose so it has a new home in our caravan. Now I have perfect coffee when traveling.
I purchased the Breville Infuser coffee machine. We purchased this because it came highly recommended by many friends. I have to say this lives up to the hype. We like to experiment with different coffee beans from all different brands and this produces great coffee everytime. It has easy to use functions and is very intuitive. I now also recommend the Breville the Infuser.
I've had my Infuser for several weeks now. I'm still learning the ropes, and a long way off making a coffe shop comparable latte, but, for a complete beginner using pre ground coffee I can't complain as the process is quite easy and fast to get a hang of. My milk frothing leaves much to be desired, and working out the correct ratio of coffee grounds to portafilter still needs work. Overall I'm very happy with my cute little espresso coffee machine and glad I made the jump from the Espressotoria pod machine and onto the real deal. Its beautiful solid built body and brushed stainless steel housing just adds to the aesthetic appeal of this little guy. Highly recommend for the inexperienced barista. ☕️
Excellent machine once paired with a good grinder. Using the bottomless portafilter requires dialing in the right grind size and customizing the one shot volume.
I have found the infuser to be a great machine. My espressos are delicious. Easy to use with the dual wall basket or playing with the grind with the non-pressurized basket is a lot of fun for me. The wand works really well to. Very easy to use!
Great machine, great coffee. Easy to work (if you read the instructions) and a quality built product. I've owned several Breville appliances over many years and they all still work. Good onya Breville 5 stars
I already have some espresso machines, including a Breville Bambino. The Infuser was purchased to replace the Bambino as a machine for creating quick espressos, in particular long blacks (Americanos) and Flat Whites when time constraints apply. The bambino had previously filled this role very well. So why the Infuser? It has extra features over the Bambino (Pressure Gauge, hot water dispenser, stays "ON" for longer than the Bambino), does not have a grinder (I have two), but is still simple to use. Its one issue for me - I don't like its milk preparation operation. Hence only 4 Stars. In operation I have found it creates great espresso, simply and just the way I want. I can take control manually, as I did with the Bambino, and use my added accessories to produce very good quality extractions. Adding hot water for Long Blacks is a breeze. However, the milk steaming is another story, at least for me - so far. It seems to be too powerful, not controllable, and requires a very precise series of steps to get it right, which I have managed once or twice. But it is very fiddly compared to the Bambino, and its design whereby it does an automatic purge after use contributes to the process being difficult to master in my view. Out of frustration I have reverted to using my trusty Breville milk frother from my Aero Press days instead - much less "drama" and produces a good, straight forward result. Overall the Infuser is a great machine and would get 5 Stars if not for the less than ideal (in my opinion) milk frothing system. In time I may master this and then all may be well here also.
This machine makes a great coffee, you need to get your grind and tamp right and then it making a pretty tasty brew. Hot water function is great, as is steam. At the price point, cannot be beat.
