This was a fun but challenging build. It may not work like an actual pinball machine but it does have movement and action. I enjoyed this build and every build from this company thus far.
It was very fun to put together!
We LOVE BrickLoot! Every month my son runs to the mailbox to collect his subscription box & opens it immediately to build the cool things that have been sent!
As a Pinball Wizard as a kid I had to get this for my own kids. It is really colorful and it actually works and plays pinball. Such a smart idea. It was a bit hard to build but anything that uses technic parts is always more challenging (and fun!).
Holy Cow it works! My kids are playing pinball with this working machine / model. OMG! How clever of Brickloot. This was a great birthday gift.
Great fun! Nice set that has action with it. You do have to immobilze the pinball to play it otherwise it is hard to make it work.
Retro Pinball Game Brick Set
My son very like it !! Thank you
Love it! The design is very clever, the mechanisms are simple, but effective and solidly constructed, and the actual pinball game is surprisingly fun, functional, and takes some skill! I also love that it has some graphic design going on with the gradient on the playfield and the waves along the sign. Only problem is the colors in the manual are a bit off so the color to use was sometimes a bit confusing, but I figured it out and got it built nicely. A really cool kit that you can't get anywhere else!
This was the second Retro Pinball set that I completed, with the same result. The instructional booklet is somewhat difficult to follow and this is because the brick colors (esp.dark blue/black) are confusing and the pictures are unclear. Once constructed it doesn't function as a toy but is cute as a display piece. I've done at least 15 Brick Loot items and have been very pleased with the outcome of each. This particular item was not enjoyable to do. It almost feels as if it's not a Brick Loot piece! Not surprised that it's no longer available for future purchase.
